(no subject)
I cannot deny the absence I have self imposed over the last year in this livejournal community, but those of you who know are aware of the fact that I have still been trolling around my friends list and trying to keep up with what's going on with all of you, and I'll be honest.
It's not really enough.
I've tried to fill the online social thing with other sites like Facebook, but it's just not doing anything for me. A friend and I had a brief exchange on the subject about how Facebook seems to work really well for keeping in touch with people you're already friends with, but I have yet to make a single NEW friend over it. A quick glance at my livejournal friends list reveals a cavalcade of people I didn't meet before my livejournalistic tendencies and I've sort of been wanting to pick up the proverbial pen and jot down a few more frequent entries in styles of auld.
Things have chaaaaanged.
In a good way, I have to say, these changes were all heavily reccommended, if not downright necessary. To get through all of them in a couple of journal entries is more than a little ambitious though, so for the next little while, I'm probably going to be writing about what's happened to me in the past year (particularly the past year, as I feel that's when my disappearance really took AS WELL as the fact that seems to be the time when my life went a little sideways.) as well as what might be going on at the moment.
What's going on at the moment?
I'm in a good deal of post kung fu pain. That has not changed.
