I would venture to say that hiring illegals will actually go UP after Obamacare. People will be trying to avoid the Obamacare induced pentalties associated with hiring more legal employees. So what are the options? Not hiring which could become a problem for the business down the road when another hand is needed and none available. Or they could "hire" and illegal, they are rarely investigated for so it's fairly safe and there's always plausible deny-ability.

Just as to the first part: Yes, we did not steal anything. We fought a war and won it, over territorial dominion. The terms of the peace were the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The alternative for the opposing forces was a complete US conquest of northern Mexico, at the least. So they took the deal. Now they are bitching about it -- over a century later? Shaddap.
