Steam Washer/Dryers
I'm in the market for a new washer/dryer. I've been doing a bit of researching into the steam washer/dryers but have seen a lot of varying opinions. Some say it's super awesome, energy efficient to the max, gentle on the clothing etc. Others say it's not worth the hassle because it takes 2 + hours to do one load of laundry and that the "cold water sanitation" is a bunch of hooey (I usually wash everything in cold that I can). Any advice?
Other than the steam question, what are your favourite brands? top load/front load for washers? Any features you love?
On a side-note, has anyone had any experience with cloth diapers and a steam washer? My little one is quickly approaching potty learning, but if I have another child I'll definitely be cloth diapering again and don't want to have a washer/dryer that don't work with cloth diapers.
