Spot-cleaning sofa
In trying to clean some spots (general use, not necessarily food) on my fabric sofa, I'm running into an issue. I followed the fabric rec (water and mild detergent) but no matter what I do, the spots end looking worse after I try to clean them. Primarily the spot I tried to clean ends up darker, surrounded by a lighter ring where the fabric was wet. I'm not using a lot of water (and just a little bit of soap), I've read to try adding vinegar to the water I'm using to blot, I've tried air-drying, drying quickly with a blow dryer, and nothing seems to make much difference. What else should I do?
