Christmas dessert idea?
This com had great caramel suggestions last month so I'm trying for recipe ideas again :)
I've just been informed by my stepmother-in-law that they'd like me to make the desserts for Christmas dinner. I'm on a limited budget and have to use what I have on hand to come up with something impressive that both the foodie adults and the kids will eat and I'm just drawing a blank.
1 gallon vanilla ice cream
2 Pannetone (1 fruit, 1 chocolate chip)
2 bags peppermint baking chips
2 bags of Kraft caramels
2 bags Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips
1 bag semisweet chocolate chips
2 dark chocolate brownie mixes
Devil's food cake mix
White cake mix
1 can baking cocoa
various Jello mixes
1 tub Cool Whip
3 bags marshmellows
3 large dark chocolate bars
1 jar cherries
So hip goddesses - what would you make? I'd make Jamie Oliver's Christmas bombe but no way can I afford Vin Santo for it right now and I have no glace fruit!
