I'm looking at apartments in NYC as my bedbug research drifted my interest in this direction. How the fuck does anyone live there? For $1300-$1500 you get a shit box with peeling paint and cracked tiles and a crackhead bathroom. For $2500 you get a kitchen with ugly cabinets. All of it is pretty much walk ups, 6-8 floor walk ups.
