Snowed in Bicycles
I went into NY right after the big after Christmas snow storm hit the northeast to see my friend Kate who was back from school for the holidays. They were still plowing streets and getting everything back up and running, as you can see above, they were not entirely dug out.
Garbage on the Street
Garbage had not been collected since before christmas eve and it was beginning to show with garbage piling up in the streets.
Give Gifts
A tossed away holiday Starbucks cup in the snow seemed to stand out in the snow.
Abandoned Ornament
This tree being thrown out still had one lonely ornament on it.
Full Speed
Got it!
We went to Tompkins Square park where dogs were playing in the snow even in the freezing weather. This guy seemed really excited for a game of catch.
On the Light
These guys were all crowding on to this lamp as the sun set.
Tiki in the Snow
Its interesting what you can find in the lots between apartment buildings in NY. This tiki seems a little out of his element.

I loved the way the light was hitting this graffitied door.
