As for your friend, um...you're not getting a disconnect message, are you? Or is she just not answering. And I have no idea about the Murkrows. But you're right, it's kind of getting a little creepy.
And that puzzle...um... [Thinking very hard here...] give me a minute. A yo-yo can go around the world but that has nothing to do with corners...hm...what stays in a corner...
[Don't mind him, he's just going to mumble to himself for a bit as he tries to figure it out.]

It's...possible. If she just isn't answering then she might just be somewhere where she can't get to her 'gear. Or it broke or something. But if you get an error message then...yeah. In my experience, that's what that message always means.
[He's going to keep thinking on it. It'll probably hit him randomly in a few minutes.]

Yeah...sorry to be the bearer of bad news. She might come back though. A few of my friends who have left have come back. Twice, even. So...you never know.

I hope so. Though, then it wouldn't matter that you never got the chance to say goodbye...because then you could just focus on saying hello!
[Without warning he lightly smacks the bottom of his fist against his open palm.]
Ah! A postage stamp! The puzzle, I mean. Is that the answer? [God only knows what train of thought he had to ride to get to that...]
