[As if by coincidence, here is Clover, actually walking with her own Furret, accompanied by a Roserade who seems to be in deep Poké-conversation with a Gabite. She loves taking her Pokémon out of their balls.

When she sees Luke struggling with this other Furret, she breaks into a run, and her terrific trio tail her. Clover and the Roserade hurry over to Luke while the Furret and the Gabite stand ready, in case their trainer started barking orders.]

Hey - hey, kid! Need some help?

[He flails his arms trying to shoo away the Furret, only to have it affectionately nudge him.]

Get it off, it's going to eat me!

[Clover notices the Furret nudging Luke...and that's enough to tell her that this Furret wasn't going to harm him, at least.]

...I don't think it's gonna eat you, but I'm gonna guess you want it off. [She turns to her own team.] Okay, Striper, Arietis, you're both up.

[And the second Furret and the Gabite snap into action, and try to pull the other Furret off.]

[As soon as the Furret is pulled off, Luke dashes backwards.]

T-thank you! Who knows what Pokemon was planning to do!

[Currently, the Furret is nuzzling against Clover's Gabite.]

[Clover blinks.] Actually, I think it just likes you and got overexcited. They do that.

[The Gabite just stands there stoically, her face a clear picture of "..." Then she'll just...slowly step away as well with a nod. Okay, okay, enough nuzzling, please.

And Clover's Furret will just grin and let out the Furret equivalent of a chuckle.]

I've met their unevolved, and they are far, far from just being nice to someone.

[Well okay be that way. Luke's Furret instead just rolls around on its back, tiny paws in the air.]

Maybe that was a different case. Striper here was okay when I first caught him as a Sentret.

[She nods at her own Furret, which will now approach Luke's Furret because the Gabite is being tsun would rather hang out with the Roserade. Said Roserade is quieter and does not nuzzle.]
