Strange, isn't it, that I'm hardly ever patriotic except during the football World Cups? I don't wave Swedish flags around, either - I honestly couldn't care less about the Swedish football team (sorry, SVT). I am, however, very, very concerned when it comes to Germany and England. Call it emotionally tied support - I've lived in England, and I've practically lived in Berlin, and for some reason, that resonates more with me than my birth country (also, I think that Swedish football in general is highly overrated - which is not to say that German and English football isn't, but..)
So. I'm actually quite worried about the Germany-Sweden match today. I'm wearing my jacket with German flags in a ridiculous attempt to support Klose and Schweinsteiger and Lehmann. ;)

Let me just say, too, that if all your friends are out of town, half a bottle of Cabernet Syrah, Camembert and
Chungking Express is quite a fine way to spend Midsummernight's Eve. Mmm.

Right. Have some music:
Archie Bronson Outfit - Pompeii
The Pink Mountaintops - Slaves
The Whitest Boy Alive - Above You
Sleater-Kinney - Jumpers
Regina Spektor - Sailor Song
Patti Smith - Ask the Angels ( I can't be the only one who thinks that Radio Ethiopia is her best album, can I?)

Oh, and a few weeks ago, I redesigned
dis-illusioned.org. A fickle attempt at becoming comfortable in Swedish, I suppose.
