The day i've been waiting for!
So today is the day i went to do all the paperwork to start the road to my very own pad. I can't express in words the joy i am feeling for finally being able to afford this (thanks to the fact i payed off my Car :D )
As soon as all the paper work comes back i'll be moving into a very nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment of my own, just me, myself, and I. This places is AMAZING!! I'll be sure to post lots of pics of it when i get there and a little settled.
It has a Work out facility, with treadmills, bikes, and weight training gear, a pool, and a nature trail, and the most AMAZING thing was the 2 playgrounds on the grounds ACTUALLY HAD KIDS PLAYING ON THEM! i dunno if any of know anything about Florida, but finding a playground with kids on it is rare, as 96.563% of Florida is people age 65 and up. SOOOO much more then i was expecting to get out of my first apartment!
Its a really exciting feeling and i can't wait to finalize the lease and get my happy buttaru into it!!
but it wasn't without the mild struggle, was gathering all my info up to take into the office today.... and couldn't find my SSN card!! I freaked a little because thats a real show stoper as far as filling out the paper work goes and i had never taken it out of my wallet before unless i needed to. but luckily the lady filled me in on how to get a temp card from the Social Security Office near by. so 15 min in the office and a few simple questions and i was good to go.
And apparently i was fairly well prepared, the ladies in the leasing office went out and got me a $25 Target gift card to say thanks. ironically i had just given them a money order for $25 for the application fee, and another $100 for the holding fee while my app processes. xD but its the thought that counts, and they were very friendly and sincere.
P.S. I am accepting house warming gifts in the form of booze and Black & Mild wood tiped cigars :D
