I need your help.. Job Searching.
Looks like again my time in the Bay is drawing to a close.
The work situation is degenerating rapidly and it really is looking pretty awful right now.
My roomates know that I've been sleeping like poo and have been extremely unhappy at the job, all the while being grateful to have one.
I have an offer inbound from an institution not in the state of California, and if it comes in before I can find other arrangements, for the sake of my sanity and not hating 1/3 of my life (we all spend that long at work, give or take), I'd have to take it and leave the Bay.
The Bay has been my home for nigh on 10 years now. I've made friends that've come to be pretty much family to me, and if I can, I'd stay. But given the current circumstances at my workplace.. (I'll explain via email if wanted. Not going to post it here).. I don't think it'll be here another few months.
In the past month, I've sent out what seems like several hundred resumes, only to hear the chirping of crickets in reply. Therefore I turn to you all.. do you know anyone who needs a Windows SysAdmin, or Support staff?
Khinsah, if you're reading this, don't have a heart-attack or get all on me for posting this. You'd have a hard time leaving folks too, and would want to give it one last push to see if it could be made to work out. Leaving friends isn't easy at all. :/
