Justice League Unlimited (Yes, I know that the Userpics off)
Ever since I visited a friend a few years ago, and she introduced me to Teen Titans, I've loved the DCU. Mostly I'll admit, the animated universe.
Because, due to the horrible location in which I live, I have zero access to the comics. With the exception of one amazing website that I discovered the other day that has a few online, and the one occasion when I was lucky enough to find a copy of Teen Titans in my local library, I have read none.
So sadly, most of my knowledge of the DCU comes from TVTropes, Wikipedia, Young Justice, Batman the Animated Series (still on Season 1, because I can't find the rest...) and Justice League Unlimited.
Justice League Unlimited is new. I started a few weeks ago.
... and I love it to pieces.
I wasn't a fan of Wonder Woman that much before this. I know, she's supposed the be the great role model and all that, but she never appealed to me. I think it's got something to do with Batman being my favorite.
But this show has made me appreciate her a lot. Diana is awesome. And I totally ship her and Batman now
Superman has redeemed himself from the whole "won't acknowledge Superboy" thing. I've never really held it against him, (Yes, I'm one of the fans who think he's reacting understandably, albeit badly) but it has rubbed off a bit.
Martian Manhunter, while not as awesome as in his Young Justice incarnation, is still amazing.
Hawkgirl is brilliant. I love her.
I like this incarnation of Batman as well, although once again, not as much as his Young Justice Incarnation.
This is my first experience with Green Lantern, and I must say, Jon Stewart is making me smile. Hawkgirl/GL is my one of my favorite ships on the show
... and then we have Wally West. Who is now my second favorite Superhero of all time, and my favorite in this show. (Batman's still the first.)
He's amazing, and makes me giggle so much. He's funny, brave, clever, and a really sweet guy.
But I digress.
On another note, I've decided to try and start writing the Legend of Maybe. I think it's time I get that story out of my system.
