The best laid plans...
..or something like that. 8}
I've been writing or trying to write or staring blankly at the computer, depending on your view of it, forever now. Due to a personally devastating case of medical mismanagement, the eventual long-term fallout, ironically enough, is some memory issues and a mild form of aphasia, making words, which used to readily spill out, take up residence just out of my reach. I have the utmost sympathy for Gibbs with his Swiss-cheese memory now and, perhaps, something of a frame of reference. ~=b
With that said, I was recently asked about my intended sequel to Memories of Me. I've jumped back into trying to write recently and have made some headway on Recalled to Duty and its sequel, Lost in the Part, as well as my Gibbs meets Tony story, The Fox and the Hound, and End Game, a team loyalty fic. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline for any of them, nor the story I owe taylorgibbs, but it seems to be coming easier the more I just let the muses loose and do some Timmy-style freewriting as a form of therapy as opposed to forcing results. Hopefully, sooner than later? My hope is to have at least one of them done by the end of the year.
Last week, while watching "Thirst" with everyone at gibbs_dinozzo, I posted a comment fic - my first, and most definitely not last, slash. After some encouragement following the first comment, it got very out of hand, and before I knew it, it was a wee ficlet - full of pure, playful smut.
