1:00 pm
My boss called this morning and asked if he could come over to my place and watch the results with me.
He came and we watched as Ohio went to Obama and such. then it was 1:00. Obama won. Then boss gets a phone call.
We're late for a meeting my boss had called for today.
oops. not MY fault. :)
anyways, i thought that I would share that.
I would have voted for Bush on both occasions, and i really liked his father. I really disliked Clinton. I've never actually considered myself a democrat. if anything i would've considered myself a republican...
I wasn't even gunning for Obama at first.
But I'm so happy he won. Not because HE won, but because it's actually possible for something to happen back home.
I never raelly doubted that, since my father has been living the life that he has, but at the same time, Obama's accomplishment today shows this on a global scale.
People have no excuses anymore.
no one.
so if you're cynical, you're tired of hearing about elections and Obama Obama, Obama, cult of personality etc, I understand you, but I don't give a $hit.
This'll be my last post on the subject. I got work to do. :)
