movie moment
so yesterday dany and i stop by the vespa dealership after downtown
browsing we run into a woman that asks me "so, with whom am i speaking to?," i point to dany and he introduces himself and she asks who is driving?
we answer, and she says she has some goodies for us, comes back with a bin full of gear. we stand there thinking, oh so we get a gift if we buy a vespa, no thanks, we arent here to buy one. but she just hands it to us and tells us we can load our car? and this confuses us, so dany asks "whats the catch?"
she then asks us, "aren't you with the secret society?"
i just reply "yes" as a reflex, and realized what was going on soon after.
dany and i start loading these Armani exchange bags with the gear as follows: 8 armani exchange bags, 8 notebooks, 2 spy glasses, 2 ferrari fila shirts $104 each, 2 vespa polos
i wave goodbye and we start walking, and tried to figure out why we got all this free stuff; we thought it was a promotional thing? but the fact we grabbed so much made us think that this stuff was intended for someone else named dany?
so now we are thinking, "oh shit, i feel bad now, i think this was intended for some other guys." but such a coincident, and for something to fall in our laps like this, how do we reverse that. at least it was from a major company, and its not like we stole charity money that benfited children.
at home we look up vespa secret society, and it appears to just be 10 or so 50 year old guys who do rallys? we chuckle it up, but just that we were reflecting on how that situation fell into our laps and played out so well.
well i wasnt selfish with the gear, i just distributed it amongst friends
