Mini-fics written for fanfic_bakeoff , a fun place to play when you're feeling competitively drabbly.

Title: Passing The Time
Fandom: Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name
Word Count: 179
Rating: PG-13 (violence, blood, sexual situations)
Characters: Worth, Lamont
Summary: There’s little else to do when there aren’t any patients.

They grapple with each other, each one fighting his damndest, but Lamont knows it’s not dominance that Luce wants. He got that hint right off the bat, almost ten years ago, though it took a blowjob from Luce to clue him in. No, Luce wants to be put in his place. He wants pain.

They scrape bare elbows and knees against the stained concrete of Luce’s office, bite into each other’s naked shoulders and roll around like spitting cats until one of them punches the other one and blood goes flying in a gob of saliva and gore to land with a splat on the wall.

Luce starts to laugh.

Lamont hits him again, mashes his thick fist against Luce’s mouth, tearing his lip. More blood. More laughing. And Luce is on his back, grabbing Lamont’s shirt and pulling him down for a copper-flavored kiss that has to hurt more than it doesn’t.

Lamont chuckles one word against Luce’s tongue - “Kneel.” - and the red grin he gets back is almost as big a turn-on as the answer.

“Make me.”

Title: Shoulda Got Chinese
Fandom: Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name
Word Count: 134
Rating: PG (language)
Characters: Conrad, Sassybat
Summary: Pizza, the staple of graphic artists-about-to-become-vampires everywhere.

He looked up at the sound of the doorbell, stylus in his hand and a caramel latte (made himself, thank you very much, coffee shops were trendy and cool and all, but he knew his way around his own cappuccino machine and was more than happy to spend time making himself a steamed drink, especially since it meant he could show his friends when they came over) to his left, his other hand stuck holding the “SHIFT” key.

“Shit… who is it?”

“Pizza,” the voice called back. A woman’s voice, too. He blinked behind his glasses, then mentally shrugged. What the hell, what’s a pizza delivery girl going to do to me? And he was hungry, and the pizza was actually early for once.

“Come in,” he called. “Door’s open. I’ll be right there.”

Title: Game Night
Fandom: Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name
Word Count: 171
Rating: G
Characters: Hanna, {…}, Veser
Summary: Every Tuesday.

Hanna quickly moved his yellow piece across the board, giving a little “Yes!” of triumph when he made it into the Library. He got up on his knees, a grin splitting his face.

“Okay, okay! Ready? I’ve got it all solved!”

“Sure you do,” Veser said, rolling his eyes. “You only asked, like, ten questions the whole game.”

“Yeah, but I’m a professional investigator,” Hanna said, sweeping up the beige “Classified” envelope and holding it out to his partner. “You check me, Ezekiel.”

The zombie took the envelope in his gloved hand and slid the three cards out, taking care to hold them so only he could see them. “Go ahead.”

“IT WAS.” Hanna stabbed a finger at each piece, place and weapon on the board, entire body vibrating with the joy of victory. “Colonel Mustard! In the Library! With the Wrench!”

His partner hesitated. “Ah … not quite.”

It was Veser’s turn to grin as Hanna’s smile crumpled. “So that’s four out of seven. Wanna go five out of nine?”
