Well a lot of new stuff has happened since my last update.
We've got a new microwave, since the old one died after Jeremy cooked one of Matt's Dropkick Murphy's cds in it.
I got a new leather office chair with armrests for my desk that I bought at Target. My elbows will never dangle in the air while I type again.
I received a bunch of delicious bagels in the mail, shipped in a care package from my my step mother in New York- probably the nicest thing she has ever done for me.
You know what is great about college? It motivates me to be productive. Since classes have started back up again, I've accomplished more than I probably did throughout the entire month I had off.
Here's my class schedule:
-Psychobiological Aspects of Drug Use
-Motivation
-Interviewing & Counseling
-Psychology of Diversity
-Honors Directed Reading I (Research)
The research is what is really keeping my busy. I need to put in 10 hours each week, in addition to attending meetings each week for about 1:30-2 hours. Today, I had Class in the morning, research meeting at noon until about 2, and then volunteered at the shelter until 7. Tomorrow I have class until 9pm. I really don't mind at all either. I'm enjoying it, at least for the time being.
The only problem is I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep. I just can't get myself back into the habit of getting to bed before 3am, and it's starting to take a toll. The other night I was so tired that I bent over to pick something up and a cut open my forehead on the corner of my desk. I had a headache for a day and a half. It's 12:30 now. My goal is to be in bed by 1am. I need to get over to the research lab early tomorrow morning to do an encoding reliability test, and get done before my classes start at 1:30. It will probably take about 7 or 8 hours, so I'll have to do a some more on Friday.
Ok, this entry started to get boring a long time ago, so I'm going to stop now. Wow. It's already 12:36. What have I been doing for the past 6 minutes? 12:37.
