1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
graduate from college, actively pursue a purty lady (with a brain too), job hunt, agree to live in a loft, among others
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i probably tricked myself into thinking i would lose weight in 2006, and i can't remember any others. as for 2007:
a. lose weight - i actually came up with goals and objectives to accomplish this this time around.
b. take my job seriously and go above and beyond the call of duty - i don't wanna be a "broadcast traffic coordinator" for the rest of my life
c. document my year - i couldn't summarize 2006 if i tried cause i never updated this lj and was too lazy to take pics

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
the closest so far would be charisse and leo. still a trip to think about it. i'm not completely sure that ate irma didn't give birth yet. does that make me a bad cousin?

i was blessed this year
5. What countries did you visit?
took a little pilgrimmage to the Timberlake Justin (get it, TJ?), along with my brothers in the mask for my initiation
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A Chargers' Super Bowl victory over Drew Brees' Saints.<---lance's answer will do, but it doesn't matter over what team. i'll take a side of ncaa basketball championship for ucla with that super bowl order too.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
5-13-06, it's etched on my charger's money clip, and it was probably the best wedding I've been a part of<---lance on point again! june 18 (graduation), august 11 (official), september 25 (employment offer) also top the list.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
gettin that B of A at the UC of LA of course
9. What was your biggest failure?
i don't regret much. i believe in that saying that everything you've ever done was at that moment in your life what you REALLY wanted to do. i do regret not spicing up our hot 2nite performance at kuya pogz's by serenading the bridesmaids. my 2nd verse was pretty boring, and it would've been a very nocon thing to do. pretty dumb huh.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
i feel like i was literally sick for half the year.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
this laptop was pretty nifty.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
LaDainian Tomlinson and San Diego Chargers are having a special year.<---good one lance. a season like this hasn't happened in my lifetime. plus LT is pretty much christ-like (to steal from justin's vocabulary) when it comes to personality and attitude.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
i was never appalled or depressed, just deeply disappointed
14. Where did most of your money go?
it's a tossup between charger merchandise, alcohol, gas, rent, and eating out.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
a wedding, a graduation, a beautiful lady, the real world

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
no, no one comes to mind

i just got out of college, i can't even open a brochure without getting sleepy

everything from my history of motown class
28. What did you want and get?
a degree, the best girl for me, an afc division championship, an nl west championship, clippers in the playoffs, a win over usc football, a spring break outside of san diego, a return to college basketball prominence, a job in a field that interests me, a los angeles residence for another year, lasting connections with my best friends at ucla, continued closeness with ptk/ss7, and a realization of what family means
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
oh this is the hardest one yet. i've probably said that blah blah blah movie was my favorite movie of the year at least three different times in this journal. i'm drawing a blank here. the only one i could think of is talladega nights?
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
at midnight i was surrounded by the best friends in the world at rick's house. we went to the padres game that day and my girlfriend came all the way down to SD to be with me and my friends. i then met up with the nocon edition to watch summerslam and take lucha libre pictures with pro bowler hanik miligan. i also drafted what would become the 2nd best team in our fantasy team when i felt like i knew nothing about fantasy football (thanks again LT!). and back in LA i received thoughtful and never-woulda-thought gifts from my roomates and katrina.

a little more post-grad planning
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
dress to impress only myself! a lot of blue and gold baby.

friends and family

i know you're tired of hearing about the chargers in every answer, but when i start worrying about whether or not i can do a good impression of LT talking, i think that constitutes fancying

the war i guess. add paying more attention to politics and that caring about the state of the world shit to my list of resolutions for this year.
