it happened to me, it could happen to you

thanks to lance and marc's rousing comments, i'm determined to update this thing.

first things first, sunday's charger game was quite possibly the most exhilerating nfl game i've ever seen. i've never yelled and jumped by myself in my room so much before. i haven't been that excited for a comeback since ucla sent adam morrison to tears back in march. i especially liked defeating the bengals because:
1. that fucking madden commercial where the virtual chad johnson is running over the virtual chargers. this was true to the actual game, but i bet the chargers didn't win in that madden commercial.
2. carson palmer is a trojan. nuff said.
3. chad johnson mocked the lights out cause he thought they had it in the bag. come on now ocho cinco, you were so original when the bengals were winning.

after a win like that, what else could make me even happier? having LT AND rivers on my fantasy team. first place in the nocon league! i also took out marc the master in ptk action. slowly creeping up on rick for first place in that league too. i'm sure i'll be a 2nd-tier team in both leagues by the end of the season, but i never thought i'd be this successful at any point in the fantasy season.

i had a lot of laughs with my friends this weekend. very little alcohol involved too. that's the kind of genuine good times i live for. seriously, who bakes cookies while watching sunday night football?

so traffic school had its positives and negatives. i learned a lot actually, the kind of stuff they don't teach us at bakkers when we're 15, as well as the laws that change since we've gotten our licenses. i think if everyone had to take traffic school for one day after 5 years of driving, it would do the roads a lot of good. but then again, the day was so excruciating that i never want another ticket in my life again. (yeah i know you can take it online, but i don't think the court allowed me to).

ucla beat osu. osu beat usc. logic tells me that a rivarly upset isn't crazy talk....

one huge thing i missed in the last update was a hefty CONGRATULATIONS to leo and charisse! little Bishop Plaza looks happy, healthy, and cute as heck. gotta admire leo and charisse for their maturity and love for each other and now their son.

as for work, i've hit a milestone in my life: i have my own business card. i've never felt so official in my life.

every time we have a movie coming out, the entire office guesses how much money they think it'll make. i hit stranger than fiction on the dot! 13.4 million! i should be on nbc's heroes man. next prediction? 21-17 chargers over denver baby!

i'm gonna watch the ucla opener now. could this year be the year? cue that fight song band man.
