Old old OLD Ted-related transcripts
I just realized that I never got around to posting the ancient pre-comm transcripts from my journal! So here they are, once again, for your reading pleasure. Everything links back to my journal, though the entries are public.
Before April 7: Barney and Robin have gone to LA so Barney can help James deal with his own relationship drama. Meanwhile, Barney's running on 0 sleep over 3-4 days and is busy awesomeing and banging hotel employees and hallucinating parrots everywhere, and took some uppers from this parking attendant or something to help himself stay awake.
Meanwhile, Ted's really worried, wondering what the heck's going on over in Cali since all he's gotten are vague wall posts and status updates, and he asked Lily if he should go over there, even though Barney's supposed to be coming back the next day. And the following chats ensued...
April 7:
Parrots
In which Barney calls Ted and tells him that he's seeing parrots everywhere. Ted persuades him to go to the hospital with Robin.
Robin calls Ted
In which Robin calls Ted being all "Aaaaah, what do I do?!" And Ted's all "Um. Hospital."
Parrots, part deux
In which Barney is in the hospital and Ted decides he's coming to Cali.
REPOST: Ted calls Robin
In which Ted convinces Robin to stay in Cali for Barney.
REPOST: Ted and Marshall freak out about Heather ( Part 1 | Part 2)
In which Marshall tells Ted that Heather has gone missing in her work with GNB, and they freak out for a good long while. Ted decides to stay en route to Cali, due in large part to Marshall's influence. At some point, Heather comes online to tell Ted she's in Korea (regrettably, the Heather portion is the single part of this chat that's gone forever, due to my failure to save that chat window, so proto-Ted/Heather is but a distant memory).
Note: I already posted this on the comm fairly early on, but it fits with the chronology here and we just made a reference to it today, so I thought I'd include it.
April 8:
Operation: Ted and Robin Take Matters Into Their Own Hands
In which Robin and Ted break into the hospital in Cali to see Barney.
April 9:
Ted visits Barney
In which Ted finally gets to see Barney in the hospital. Set just before the Barney/Robin kiss, which Ted slips out of the room for so as to allow them makeoutz privacy.
Ted texts Robin
While he's talking to Barney, he's simultaneously texting Robin asking her where she is. Because clearly, he can't wait for angst-ridden makeout sessions.
Barney/Ted, post-kiss
Ted reenters the hospital room after Robin has left, and Barney shares what happened, and his fears that Robin is toying with him. Ted suggests he tell Robin he loves her and is given a "Ted, start talking sense."
A random IMs Ted!
Short snippet of an early conversation Ted had with a French random, discussing something called "HIMYM". I think this is the first chat with a random any of us posted! I are teh trendsetter. =P
