A very brief entry just to alert readers to the following:
~ I have recently been receiving an increasing number of peculiar comments (bearing no relation whatever to the entry commented upon) and outright spam, so for the present, comments are enabled only to registered users. As far as I have been able to determine, this should also allow users with Open ID to continue commenting, provided they validate their email addresses.
~ Future entries are now friends-locked by default. Some entries, including those about my work which I'm able to post, will still continue to be made public.
~ I have for a while been considering beginning a separate new journal which will be entirely public and consist only of artwork. I will of course keep you posted when such a thing comes into existence.
