Let's see, what's new...hmmm...4 AND A HALF MORE DAYS OF HIGH SCHOOL BETCHES! It's the most bittersweet feeling ever. I'm so excited to leave and move yet of course, there are amazing friends and memories I'm leaving behind in those ghetto walls. (Yes, even though the building is technically "renovated" it will always be that endearing piece of shit it was during my freshmen year).
Your Josh has survived his four APs, thank you...They are all such a blur. Seriously, I do not remember those days. For the most part they were pretty easy. And by "four the most part" I mean all of them except mothah effin' calculus. Kiddies, proceed with caution when entering the realm that is AP Calc. It is hell and should only be attempted if you absolutely live for math. Thank god I'm not that pathetic and my mediocrity must be a sign of pseudo normalcy. It is a cult, except not a fun cult like drama with pirates, no an eerie cult with future engineers and doctors (only liberal arts person right hizzah). Oh and of course its led by an ex-Persian military official. I'm not saying anything kiddies, use your imagination.
So then school is pretty much cake. My lit group is going to modernize "Madame Bovary" and film it. I don't want to give too much away but they'll be gardening, pop-locking-AND-dropping, drugs that aren't "really" drugs, Barb starring as the skanky slut herself, and sex in the back of someone's car...come down to Mrs. Hunt's room on Tuesday for the premier!
Call me a geek, fag, lobotomy victim, whatever! but I am so excited for "High School Musical Auditions." (Erika you're not allowed to pass judgement. Sorry, I will not take the opinion of what's age appropriate and "cool" from a 17 year old who still watched Pokémon) I haven't seen some of these people from SCP since "Fiddler" and it'll be cool to do a show where over 50% of the people actually give a shit! Although it's an incredibly corny and rather ridiculous plot, I'm so happy to be squeezing one more show in before I attempt the insane jungle that is theatre at U of M.
Speaking of which, I'm going to miss APHS drama

Saturday is my taping for that program on channel 7. I'm excited yet kinda apprehensive. For one, I don't like driving around/through Detroit. I also don't like functions where they group a bunch of smart people together. A room filled with dozens of valedictorians...yeah that's how I want to spend my Saturday morning. These people have no freaken lives! THEY'RE WEIRD...I'll let you know how it goes.
