so today I finally gave in and watched gantz..>.> It was on my tv >.>

it was alot different then the anime which I thought was kinda weird..I mean why would they not cut off his arm and leg at the right part and why not kill the others properly..I know they don't have time since it's a movie but they could have done that atleast..I think..:/ I

I've only seen one episode of the anime and like... all of the movies, lol.

If you watch the movies in succession, it's heart-pounding, too-cool-for-words awesomeness, lol.

The anime is too bloody for me. I might read the manga in coming months though....

I can't believe I'm saying it but..it's almost to bad they made it a movie and not a drama o_O; can't believe I just thought that o_O;

I haven't seen the other movie and I'm not going to go looking..but if they show up on my tv again I'll watch them..I'm doomed like that >.>

ah so you don't notice the difference..it shouldn't bother me as much as it does considering what happened when I watched the anime all those years ago but I'm kinda annoyed by them not sticking with the anime/manga :/

I feel like... from what I read/saw, they stuck pretty close to it with changes of course. I mean, they can only have so much story in a 2 hour movie.

As a 2 (3??) part movie I feel like they did a good job tying it all together. Since I'm really only a fan of the movie series, (I can't really compare the original works with the movie) I feel like they did a good job~

yeah they did a good job that's for sure but I just think it's weird that they chose to cut his arm and leg off in the attack before the attack where he gets them cut off...and why show the baby bird and not the big one ( unless it's in the other movie)and the one guy didn't merge with the statue and attack them and I kinda miss the aiba looking model and his stalker girl ( unless that's the guy that joined him in the end of the first movie) AND I really liked his super cool ninja girlfriend that took on the statue when he lost his arm and leg *sigh*

I agree they did a good job I was just a little eh? at some parts ^^
you know after I saw it I went a little nuts and tried to find the second one and couldn't..I wanna see it damn it!

The "Aiba" model.....the boyfriend in the last mission of the first movie? His GF never came to the GANTZ room. I can only assume that she died. I think that's what you are talking about, lol.
