Summary: Giru thinks Shun has the wrong impression of him... and when a certain drummer tried to help change Shun's perception of Giru and the rest of the band get involved well...
Authours note: Yeah, I fail at life updating, yeah since various exams (all thankfully over now and somehow passed), computer dying, coursework, being out the country, writers block, illness, moving and life in general this fic kinda got not forgotten just not written. Hope this chapter mks up for it.

“…And then we had wild sex on the kitchen table, then his girlfriend, Koda Kumi and Gackt joined in and it was the best sex I’d ever had.” Giru paused waiting for the other to make a reply.
“Hmm yeah, that’s good then what happened?” Tero asked not looking up from his long cold noodles.
“We all went to the studio and fucked on your drum kit and had a lot of fun with your drumsticks!”
“Ok…hang on WHAT ON MY DRUMKIT?!”
Giru grinned, “Well I had to do something to get your attention as obviously my sexual exploits with Koda Kumi and Gackt were so boring.”
“Your what?!” Tero face was a hilarious combination of completely shocked and at the same time completely confused.
“Well now I have your attention Teromi chan, first of all nothings happened to your drum set and no one’s touched it - especially not Gackt or Koda Kumi so stop worrying about it because I know you are. Now what’s on you mind, you’ve been in your own little world all evening?”
“Noth-”
“Don’t give me that, there’s something on your mind and I want to know about it because it’s obviously troubling you. A problem shared is a problem halved.”
“Or doubled” Tero muttered under his breath, he was meant to be the one making his boyfriend feel better after he had seemed a little depressed after hearing about Shun yet now he was the depressed one. Though how was he supposed to explain to his boyfriend that he had only asked him out because of Jui and Rame’s lame plan that was meant to get him together with Shun but now he had in fact fallen very much for Giru but was still supposed to be going out with Giru temporarily thus making Shun jealous which seemed to be failing miserably and how he really wanted to ignore the whole absurdity of the situation and instead just date Giru without the constant guilt of knowing why he had started dating him or the annoying meddling of a certain vocalist and bassist. Confusing? Yes.
“Don’t worry there’s nothing. How do you reckon Shun kun’s getting on with his date?”
As much as Giru wanted to pursue the original subject of what was troubling Tero so, he couldn’t resists getting the other’s opinions on Shun so made a mental note to bring up Tero’s worries later.
“Depends might be a three way date if Oink’s come along, lets hope she likes pigs.”
“Oi, don’t be mean about Shun chan!”
“Huh?…Oh not Shun, Oink.” He looked up at a smirking Tero, “well at least he’s smiling again” now what did he really feel about Shun. It was just a date right? He also had a boyfriend. “Might be good for him, they might like each other and fall madly in love or something along those lines.” He had had a huge crush on Shun, but he had got over it right? It was just a little infatuation that he was now over as he had Tero and what more could he want. He turned his attention back to said drummer before the annoying little voice in his head could answer that question.

The next morning the band wandered in to the recording area, Jui as per normal still half asleep, Rame checking messages on his phone, Tero and Giru discussing a new Play Station game and Shun was drinking a coffee. Their activities were interrupted by the one of the management entering the room.
“Morning all, just to let you know that we will be starting the promotion for your new album this week and steeping it up closer to the time, I know you’re not finished yet but there will be plenty of time to do that as well as promoting before the tour in a few months. Sorry for the short notice but you have a photo shoot and interviews this week, I’ll email you all the details but it will be on Thursday so don’t plan anything for that day as it may well go into the evening. Thank you everyone, please do your best with the recording.”
A round of thank yous and similar pleasantries followed before the staff left and they went back to recording.
The morning saw them all occupied with various stages of recording and mixing their album and it wasn’t until lunchtime that they were all together again.
“So how did your date go, was she cute?” Shun knew that Giru would ask him sooner or later about last night however a non committal “ok” was the only response he gave.
“Shun kun went on a date? With who? When? Where did you go? What did you do?” Rame interrupted and the rest of the group turned to look at Shun who was rapidly turning red.
“It was ok, we went to a restaurant and then to a bar for a few drinks.” Shun mumbled, for once actually wishing their lunch break would end.
“And then…”
“Then what?”
“Did you go home together?”
“Rame!” he nearly choked on his drink before coming up with a speedy retort, “why are you so interested, not getting any yourself Rame san?”
“Me, I am!”
“Oh, with who?”
“No one.”
“So you’re not getting any then?”
“That’s not what I meant. It’s private anyway.” A (unintentionally) cute pout formed on his face and at the same time on Shun’s face a small smile appeared knowing that he had at least deflected the attention away from him for a moment.
The lunch soon ended, much to Rame’s relief as he had become the centre of unwanted attention for the rest of the time.
Making their way back to recording from the ramen shop nearby that they often frequented, Giru managed to separate Shun from the other two who were still teasing Rame in a attempt to get more information.
“So gonna see her again?”
“Maybe.”
“Is that a maybe yes or a maybe no?”
“A maybe, I dunno.”
“Come on Shun kun, you can tell me more than that.”
“Dunno, it’s up to him to call.”
“HIM!?”
“Huh? I said her.” A blushing Shun tried to remain cool to cover his slip up however the red of his face and downcast eyes quickly gave him away.
“I didn’t know you were into men?”
“I’m not. I thought I was being set up with a woman.”
“But if it’s up to him to call…you must of not minded that much.”
“Look just drop it will you, and please don’t mention it to anyone, it’s personal ok?”
“I’ll keep quiet, don’t worry, but you know I’m here if you need to talk to someone.”
“Thank you, but for now please just leave it.” Shun’s voice was practically emotionless by now but his eyes were becoming slightly teary he quickly made his way into the studio and to his guitar before Giru could say anymore to him.
“Does this mean he likes men?” was the question running all thought Giru’s head for the rest of the recording session.

Muhahaha I have eventually got this uploaded which has been a challenge as everytime I tried to copy this chapter from the word doc into a journal the internet crashed, so three days later it has eventually worked. Yes like the note at the top said, life has got in the way of writting. If giving contact details out on the internet wasn't such a silly idea I'd let all my readers have my email adress so they could flood me with messages to update...I will try to get the next chapter up quicker. I've also been out the country for a bit which stopped precedings as I did not have my computer with me, so at least I am now in the country with my computer ^_^
