AME 8th Ave... ^__^
went to up bna right after work. i tried to make it before the usual pre-con ike ike, but to no avail.... TT____TT the traffic did me in. TT___TT
in any case, i got there in one piece, sporting my harajuku attire that i shopped for just last wednesday. ^___^ lol, i actually went to work in that outfit so i wouldn't have to dress up when i get to bna. XD
it was really good to see them ame peepz again... deng was awesome. XD and i thank klaine for finally returning my dnangel manga. XD ica was there (buddy!!! aymishdyoo^^) and neji groped my ass several times. hazz. XD michelle came by with her sister, and i got to meet danix again. ^__^ i also saw boom later on, and had a little chat. and... oh yea, drea, ang kilabot ng loli, was dressed up as one.... will wonders never cease? XD and of course, i saw my sons and daughters and their children and their children's children (lol, meron nga. XD)... my spawn (all of them, mind you... XD) are amazing. they're made of win. XD saw riisha and rhea in the ladies' room, of all places. XD
went to help out at speed dating when they were short one girl. it was fun, and a different experience. LOLXD i'd rather not say anything more than that. XD
went around for the lulz and was suddenly a runner for a short period of time, as well as makeup artist and wig fixer. LOLXD
cosplay catwalk came around and it was awesome. i mean, cosplayers are just getting better every year! ^__^ they're so fun to watch. but seriously, i think that several categories should he added in the cosplay competition... like one for kids, one for cross-players... but yea. it would still be fun either way. ^^ speaking of which, i screamed my head off when i saw that someone cosplayed my first husband hiei, with a black fire dragon to boot~! XD hooyeah. of the people there, only riisha and k-chan understand why. XD and the kiddies were so cute~^__^ the group cosplays were.... well, i had mixed feelings. XD as usual, some are hot, some are not. but hey, it's all for the lulz. XD which reminds me, photos will be in my multiply some time this week. XD and i am very happy that i have a pic with my father.... kyaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnn~asdkfhgsdkfftierusdkfb solve na 'ko kahit yun lang ang pic ko sa whole fair... bonus na lang na may pic kami ni grimmy and ni hakkai and other random cosplayers... XD
stepped outside for a while to get some air with chinny, merv and april... and were later joined by zients... ang masasabi ko lang sa conversation, LOLXD... stayed outside with mic (budz!!!) and massaged her aching head.... wawa naman, may motion sickness na nga, epic pa yung lights sa stage for her eyes.. but yea, i eventually went in again for the bands.
had batch 3sam pics, although shempre di kumpleto. and then went on a joyride on the wheelchair. XD oh, and how could i forget ginnie's doujin that i so wanted to run away with.... but dang, i got caught. XD
earlier in the year, i thought that we wouldn't have fireworks for 8th ave... so it was a pleasant surprise when it was announced that there would be fireworks for the finale of the event. and really, it was a fitting end to the night even if there was epic smoke. XD pretty lights are pretty. ^__^ and it's quickly becoming tradition. ^__^
then went home with airis and family plus pinag-aawayang bf (lol), other dude (i don't think we've been introduced... gomen. >_<)and claire.... car-stuffing to the max! LOLXD so... thanks anak~ and thank tita for me again. ^___^ i wuv yoo guys to bits. ^___^
all in all, i wanna congratulate UP AME for reaching its 8th year. the fair, in my humble opinion was a success. there may be glitches every now and then, but it was pulled off and the audience had fun. so again, congratulations and may the org live longer, be stronger and happier. ^_^
