咲いた咲いた、桜が咲いた

Whoa, 久しぶりわね... I don`t even know where to begin, but I`ll try to summarize only the most exciting points, as I don`t have the time to write an encyclopedia, and no one read it ne-ways.

Spring Break - was a lot of fun. My mom came to visit me (yay!) and we went down to Kyushu (ate horse sashimi @_@ Blackie....) saw a very tempermental volcano- then off to Kyoto where I got to be a total camera-laden, english-speaking, Starbucks drinking American tourist for a few days. Oh, the fabric, the fabric *_*

Then I made it back- and the Cherry Blossoms had started to bloom! I had heard that the main street by my dorm was lined with them, and when they bloom the pink branches touch and form a pink canopy. They say sakura are best enjoyed while sipping sake- but I disagree... riding downhill on a bike through them is the most fun, waaiii!! which is only more proof of how my mental age has been clocked back about 10 years (whoever said that going abroad helped to develop oneself was lying) Like on Sunday I visited my friend out in 勝川, made s`mores by roasting marshmellows around a lighter, and I played with her little host siblings not as an adult to kids, but as elementary school student. It was fun, but kinda O.o;; afterwards. Those kids are far too cute though.

Then I caught a little cold which had me draggy and chugging the Oronamin C drink (bought a case on sale at the supermarket... it`s actually yummy) But I`m nearly healed now. I lost two roomates (well, they moved out to better flats) So it`s a little lonely around the dorm now, as of us 3 remaining, one is barely around anyways.

Speaking of rooms... room draw at HMC has come and gone! (well, for the rising seniors at least (eek) I was kinda glad to not be there in the midst of it... but it seems like things turned out fine in the end- living with Mel, Lai, and Janet in the 3rd floor NE suite. And as for you girlies- thank you so much!!! you are so cool!!! *hugs her salad dressing* (okay, never thought I`d do that) seriously though... that made my day.

Shoo rain, shoo!!!
