and the last one out of the circus has to lock up everything

so. i'm somewhat alive.

suffering from severe shock also known as meeting the reality. i'm sure i'll get lost in my own little neverland soon enough.

if dreams are like movies then memories are films about ghosts
yeah.

srsly. this is like having a bad hangover.

during a week i saw a few of the best bands i know. three to be exact:

tuesday 30 october 2007/tavastia/helsinki the gazette
friday 2 november 2007/fryshuset/stockholm plastic tree
monday 5 november 2007/tavastia/helsinki dir en grey

crazy. mind blowing. nerve racking. beautiful.

i know i wont be able to write reports, but there's some stuff about the gigs under these cuts to those interested.
....just to mention, i haven't read any reports from these gigs and just snatched the setlists since my memory is so bad >D

awesomeness. these guys even had a a frigging truck with their portrait in it. IMPRESSIVE *laughs*

the live must have been one of the best lives i've been to. it was a SHOW. yes, with caps. they played to well, performed and proved once again that they're more than just pretty guys.

also the audience was GREAT. no screaming during songs or silent parts. encore-claps came loud and clear. people know what they were watching. THE GAZETTE. they knew the songs and for once i really felt like the nothing could have gone better.

seriously, i wouldn't have missed this for the world. pure awesomeness. period.

and compulsory fangirling:
URUHAsugkfgdjgfhjaffdahfjdahsfjdfjhsfdDEARGOD. he was just as awesome as on the dvd's, paying in a huge hall, but now he was there. at tavastia. a small-ish club. right before my eyes. and boy did he play well. and you all know. he's just so gorgeous *sighs* damn that manwhore.
RUKIhkdgfksgfjajfgsjhfjhgsfjgdaf! as awkwrd and embarrassing he can be, he still rocked my world *laughs* and that voice! he was even more than i expected.
and then equal fangirling over reita/aoi/kai. they deserve it. they all were so great. i feel like crying atm just thinking abuot how awesome it was >W<

thank you!!

nega to poji - that describes my feelings from our trip to sweden to the pla gig realy well.

this gig was not as smooth as the one before it. we had to travel. we all were tired and on top of it all, most some swedish fans were so terrible that it still angers me to think about them. not all though, there were also some sweet ones and some THAT ACTUALLY HAD COME THERE TO SEE THE BAND AND NOT JUST SHOW OFF THEIR PRETTY FACES.//end of rant.

before the gig i was feeling sick. like i'd throw up any moment... T^T i was so nervous. i haven't been usually this nervous about gigs so i was a little scared. also, the fact that most of the swedes didn't feel like shouting and applauding the band on stage made me really sad.

but as the actual gig started i started feeling A LOT better. i tried to be on akira's side this time since i was on tadashi's side last time. besides, i really really like akira. i do not fangirl him in any way really, but i think he's a great guitarist and deserves more appreciation. and i'm happy to say that he got applauds after one of his solos when there wasn't a singing part right after it ♥ he seemed really happy about that :3

i didn't see much of buch since i got stranded off from akira's side to the middle and ryotarou totally block buchi. tadashi seemed to be as bouncy and energetic as always and ryotarou - he- he- was- magical. the fact that there was only a small crowd didn't seem to depress him, quite the contrary, i sort of thought that HIS performance was even a little better than the performance he gave at the concert in paris -06. and that's a lot, since i thought that was awesome already. ...he was like in trans and at the next moment he was jumping and moshing like crazy and the mcs were SO L-LIKE that my heart was about to burst out of pure happiness.

i can't remember the setlist, do if anyone has it, please give it to me too, na☆
i remember that they didn't play any really old songs. and they did play mostly songs from the new album and also from cell. i didn't even have a favorite song during this gig, was just mesmerized *-* ...i hope they'd come to finland. we made our point quite clear (there were A LOT of finns).

and encore-clapping was LAME. i felt like i could strangle the people around me who just stood or even worse - started going home!? i felt hopeless and angry. luckily we managed to get them back on stage, but i must say there were only a hand full of people cheering.
at that moment i missed the enthusiastic crowd from gaze gig so bad.

anyhow, the band did a great encore. pla isn't the kind of band that'd get depressed because of a lame audience. they knew there were also those who really loved their music and wanted to see them and were desperately waiting for them to come back on stage.

gratefulness. that's what i feel. thank you♥
i love this band so much.

the final act.
i saw these guys in ankka this summer. and to tell you the truth i can't say which was a better gig. of course there's a world of difference in a festival gig and a club gig but in their own way they both were just mind blowing, and had also their faults.

while waiting for the gig to start it was obvious there were again some people who a)hadn't ever been on a gig or b)had been on a gig but were just plain stupid.
you see, it's useless to start cheering 45 minutes before the gig is scheduled to start. no band will start before the show time, no matter how hard you cheer AND no one will be able to cheer for 45 minutes non stop, so better leave the cheering for later, let's say 5 minutes before the gig's supposed to start. also, during the gig, some people were chatting. like wtf, this isn't a cocktail party, gals. also, there were some screaming during kyo's solo parts. BUT all in all the audience was alright. nothing could have been worse than the audience in stockholm on friday.

and having that said i'll move on to the gig, which was energy, vulnerability, dedication, talent, beauty, perfection and raw power wrapped into a loud and twitching, yet complete package. the stage felt small, their presence was so huge and powerful.

i enjoyed it to bits and pieces even though the pressure in the crowd was really tense during the whole gig. i moshed and head banged, held by hand in the air and breathed the music, shouted along and tried to catch as much as i could of what was happening.

die was on fire. i think that's how he is; at his best when playing live, you can see he loves it. kaoru, the little i looked at him was playing and doing his thing while looking as cool as ever. actually i must say i didn't pay much attention to the guitarists except if there was a solo or for example when die played the acoustic guitar. shinya didn't catch my attention that much either (though i did see him before the gig >D).

but again, just like in ankka, toshiya and kyo were the stars of the show (from my point of view, that is). but kyo even more than toshiya this time. i don't even know what to say ;^; awesome? would that even do?
my brain still has some difficulties with understanding that i really was there. THEY were there. THEY played at tavastia. oh my god. thank you.

the setlist was:

REPETITION OF HATRED
merciless cult
LIE BURIED WITH A VENGEANCE
OBSCURE
DISABLED COMPLEXES
ROTTING ROOT
THE FINAL

蝕紅 (Shokubeni)
DOZING GREEN
HYDRA -666-

CONCEIVED SORROW
dead tree
凌辱の雨 (ryoujoku no ame)

encore:

理由 (riyuu)
鼓動 (kodou)
AGITATED SCREAMS OF MAGGOTS
beautiful dirt
CLEVER SLEAZOID

again, may i say dear fuxxing god. see those songs there. GREAT. the setlist was great. like so many others, i was really thrilled to hear the OLD songs, like kodou and OBSCURE. but to be frank, i LOVE the new songs so much that they made me equally thrilled. like GRIEF and THE DEEPER VILENESS and AGITATED SCREAMS OF MAGGOTS. AWESOME. awesome. awesome.

ps. i got totchi's pick♬

now. those of you who know me well enough might have a slight idea how damn much all this meant to me.
i may not cry because of gigs. i breath them, feel them and definitely do not want to let go of them.

thank yous to all of my friends who were with me during this seven days and also to the people i got to know and to those i hanged out without even knowing them m(_ _)m

also thanks for the sweet comments on my previous post, they made me happy♥
