Alyssa came to visit.

Most original subject heading ever.

Alyssa has come and gone. Already? Two days isn't really a long time, I guess, but I didn't think it would be over that quickly. Come back. ;_;

Tuesday was rather uneventful as she didn't get into Waterloo until about four in the afternoon where she met Vitaly at the school and spent the evening with him. I was awaiting her triumphant return to our humble apartment with Adam all evening. Unfortunately, she had plans until 10 or 11pm that night. >:(   That's okay, I guess since we spent most of Wednesday together.  We did stay up until the wee hours of the morning, hanging out and playing video game/crocheting a new throw. Guess which one of us did which activity.

Apparently, it's so boring in Niagara Falls that crocheting a new shrug is a mind-blowing funk buster. o_O

Wednesday, Alyssa, Vitaly and I went shopping! By that, I mean Alyssa went shopping and Vitaly and I sat outside the clothing store, getting to know each other better. On the small chance that all three of us were in a clothing store, I made it a point to make him feel as awkward and out of place as possible.

Pet shops and pizza subs later, I had to head home before Adam arrived. I said my farewell to Alyssa and Vitaly, who decided they would be cooler than me and go to the LCBO to grab some delicious beverages to drink later that evening. I had orange strawberry banana juice to drink, instead. I took the 12 bus home.... which was a big mistake.  The 12 goes the furthest away from my place than I thought possible and takes two (TWO!) detours into random, twisty suburbs then stops for fifteen minutes in front of the Pizza Pizza on University and King. It was about here that I realized I should have taken the 7 which was waiting at the mall's bus stop when I left and intercepted a different 12 on its break by the Pizza Pizza. And that's not the end of my bus woes, either. Once it got to the Seagram and University stop, I thought there was another stop in between this one and Westmount.

I was wrong.

So the bus keeps going well past my place and I get off at the next stop. Did I mention it had started POURING? Well, it had and I was wearing a white t-shirt. By the time I had made it to my apartment, it looked like I was just wearing a bra as my shirt seemed to have magically changed to a skin-coloured hue when it got wet. Except for the graphic on the front. So I was wearing a bra and had a sweet Megaman tattoo if you were looking at me from a few meters away. That probably went over well with the three or four elderly (and very near-sighted) tenants who were on their way to the mailroom when I entered the foyer.

Lady#1 : Those rapscallions! Only wearing her brassiere in the rain? What's next? Temporary clothing made of snow? Eh, Agnes?
Lady#2 : And that tattoo! Of a man on her bosom, even! I am absolutely horrified for my own safety! That is proof enough for me to make
                a petition for the next Tenant's Association meeting. Our very way of life is being put in jeopardy.
Lady#3 : Eh?
Lady#1 : SHE SAID OUR VERY WAY OF LIFE IS IN JEOPARDY!
Lady#3 : Yes, my brother's wife is hosting a party.

Waaah.
