I wonder

Sometimes I would really like to be able to think as someone else. You know that our views are heavily influenced by experience and that we constantly think things over in ways that only those experiences can allow us to follow. Well... I was talking on the ride home from Tracie's party about Sam's vocal style, and I personally remember her singing only classical ballads and finding her ability with those pieces quite impressive. So in my mind she is best suited to certain mellow genres. Then I thought about it further. I've really never heard her sing anything upbeat. Thats where my view is comming from! So, I recognize that I could be very wrong.

This is just a very minor thing, and its easily solved (get together with Sam and play boogie Woogie buggle boy on the piano, then would know), but what about the more important things. I realize that there is no way to ever truly place yourself in someone else's shoes, but it would explain the things I fail to follow, like, what does this person see in their partner? or, Where do they get the idea that bagpipe music is not a weapon of mass distraction? I'll have to try and be more inquisitive and take an interest in hearing people out.
