{ Chapter1}{ Chapter2}

Takeru slowed down as he came near the free-way. “Dammit.” He huffed. He'd just declared war on his former gang. They outnumbered him 300 to 1. “Fuck my luck.” The  vocalist sighed heavily as he leaned against a driving sign. Now, how was he going to get home? Cars passed by as the SuG member stood there and thought. His mind was a jumbled mess. Questions and worries buzzed around making his ears block hearing anything else. He must of looked suspicious out in the middle of nowhere wearing a suit.

The shrill ringtone of his phone jolted him out of his haze. “Geez!” Takeru touched the screen to see that it was Aoi. “Hello?”

“Yo~ I wanted to let you know that we're coming to the PSC building tomorrow. Want to hang out?” Aoi asked enthusiastically.

Shit. Takeru didn't think he would see them so soon. He could only hope that Yokama didn't send goons tomorrow.

“O-of course!” Takeru stuttered a bit. “It would be nice to see you guys. What's the special occasion?” He hoped he didn't sound terrified.

“Maa, nothing really. Just a meeting with staff and then we're free.” Aoi replied happily.

Okay, so Takeru faked it well. “I'll see you tomorrow then! I'm kind of busy right now so I'll call later,ne?”

“Okay. Bye bye!” Aoi said and the line went silent.

The SuG member stared at his phone for a bit. “Damn, I could of asked for a ride.” Then he would have to explain exactly why he was out here on the highway. Aoi knew about his past, but he didn't want the other involved especially when Aoi probably didn't know about his band member's activity. Takeru sighed feeling another headache coming.

Now that he thought about it, “What time is it?” he said aloud. It was 11 close to midnight. He then looked at the street sign he leaned on.

“Ikebukuro!?” Takeru yelled. There was no way in hell he would be able to get home before dawn without a car. It was mobster central in this city. He should of known this was where he was going to if Devil Snare, the name of his former gang, were lurking around Tokyo again. Takeru whined. Nothing was going right today. He leaned against the sign again tapping his fingers impatiently. “Think Takeru Think. You've been in more dire situations before.”

Now, he doesn't regret doing that to Yokama. The bastard, even if he took Takeru in his gang and taught him everything he knew, was a evil slave driver. The only reason anyone even worked for that man was because of his power and flow of money that his loyal group of men kept up. He highly doubted Yokama would look over Takeru shooting him in the foot. The man barely let him leave the gang. Not to mention his loyal dogs would probably love to tear him to shreds right now. He bet after he finished the job the share holders had asked that they would kill him. No that wasn't a bet, that was a fact. He knew them too well for that. Memories of what they've done to other people skittered across his mind.

The vocalist ran a had through his hair trying to calm down. He slipped his phone in his pocket when he felt an object. “Oh.” He took the crystalized rose out. Takeru bit his lip. Well, he could call him.

“Argh!” He grabbed his head. “I can't be seriously thinking about asking the Roses for help?” He felt like having another mental breakdown just for the fun of it. At least he wasn't laughing hysterically, right?

Who could he call in the middle of the night to pick him up without asking questions? No one. He sighed right when he was about to reach into his pocket to get his iphone when he saw blood on his hand. “Great. My head is bleeding. Which would explain the insane thoughts right now.” The SuG member reached and felt the top of his head. It was only bleeding enough to soak the edge of his hair line. “Well at least it's not serious...”

The vocalist of SuG had a determined look on his face. “I have dealt with the Devil before.” He slapped his face. “I'm going to regret this later though.” Grumbling he wiped his hands on his pants leg, not caring about the blood, and took out his iphone.

Takeru scrolled to the contact that was labeled 'X' and hit the send button.

Ring....

Ring....

Ring....

He should of known. It's been how long he last called the other? For all he knew this number probably belonged to someone else. Just when the former gang banger was going to hang up, “Hello?” came from the speaker. Takeru jerked.

“Um, is this Tsukiya?” Takeru forced his voice to sound serious, but he was completely terrified. There was a pause. “Oh, never mind! Forget I ever called.” He panicked. His finger almost pressed the button when...

“Takeru?”

Said person sighed and brought the phone backed to his ear. “Yeah...”

“Ah,” The person on the other end sounded smug. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

The vocalist hit his face silently cursing. “I received the crystal. It was from you, right?”

“Yes.” The low voice said. “I'm coming back from Shikoku. Mind if I pay a visit?”

The SuG member bit his lip. Someone shoot me now. “Actually...I was wondering if I could have a small favor?”

“You know my favors don't come without one back.” Tsukiya tapped the cigarette his was smoking in the ashtray. “What do you need?”

“Just a ride! That's all...” Takeru scratched his head looking at the flowing traffic. This city didn't seem to sleep.

“Where are you?” Tsukiya said standing from his desk.

“Ikebukuro....Route 13” Takeru said squinting at the sign in the dark. Most of the street lights were turning off.

“So you're close.” Tsukiya put on his coat holding the phone. “I'll be there in a few minutes.” He ended the call.

Takeru huffed dramatically. “Boy did I just made the worst mistake in my VERY short life.” He stood there waiting. It was slowly turning dark, but Takeru didn't mind it. After all, he's been in darker places.

He looked down at his phone. “20% Dammit.” The SuG member quickly dialed Yuji's number.

“Hmm.” Yuji said sleepily. “Dude it's like 1 o'clock.”

“I know. Sorry, but could you tell management I won't be there in the morning?” Takeru asked.

“Why?” Yuji questioned, perking up a bit. “It's not like you to skip alone.”

“Hehe, I'm actually not feeling well.” Takeru technically didn't lie. “Reason why I called you now is because I don't have the strength to get the phone charger at the moment. My battery is about to die.” He even faked coughed.

“Alright bro. Just rest up, okay?” Yuji said worriedly. “You don't want me to come over? Or one of the band members?”

“Oh,” Another cough. “I'm find. All I need is some soup and sleep. I'll be there later in the afternoon, okay? Good night!”

“Good night.” Yuji said unsurely. Then all was silent again.

Shadows had took over his side of the road just when lights blinded him and a silver car pulled over to the side. It honked.

“Time to face the other monster of my past.” Takeru pocketed his phone and trudged over and opened the passenger door in the front.

As soon as he got in and closed the door his faced was roughly pulled. He was held by strong hands as soft lips savagely kissed him and then a hot tongue found it's way into his mouth.

“Hmmm!” Takeru tried to protest. He grabbed the wrist of the person holding him captive. He felt Tsukiya's tongue trying to cox him into responding. After a moment, the blond relented as it was clear he wasn't pushing the other off.

After fully ravashing Takeru's mouth Tsukiya withdrew. “That's my payment for making me pick you up.” Blue eyes scorched the vocalist with their gaze.

Takeru tore Tsukiya's hands off his face. “I could of at least had a warning!” He was terribly blushing. You could of mistaken him for a rose.

Tsukiya smirked and pecked Takeru's lips before he could blink. “But then you would of ran away.” He leaned back into the driving seat calmly like nothing happened and drove the car off the curve.

Takeru sat shocked and angry for a minute. But, he leaned back into the passenger chair and put his seat belt on. There wasn't anything he could do at this point. He licked his lips. They tasted like smoke. This was one of the reasons he was afraid of the Roses, Tsukiya's gang, too. Their boss was infatuated with him. I can't deny that I don't hate it though. The man driving the car has done many things that helped him survived under Yokama's rule.

The vocalist glares over at Tsukiya. He doesn't know what to categorize the man as. A friend? Maybe. A pervert? Definitely. Someone he could depend on? No answer. But he could never see him as a lover. NEVER.

Before he knew it they were back in the heart of Tokyo. “Where do you live?” The gangster asked.

“Uh, You can drop me off here.” He pointed at the tall building in Tokyo square.

Tsukiya frowned and pulled over. “Are you sure?” His blue eyes were calculating his every move.

Takeru glared right into them. “Yes, I'm sure.” The SuG member could see the horizon started to get tinged with pink. He unbutton his seat belt and put his hand on the handle.

“Always the same. So cautious.” Tsukiya smiled. “Do I not get a farewell present?”

Takeru paused then dropped his head. He hoped no one saw this. “Alright. Since you so graciously helped me.”

Tsukiya leaned in and Takeru gave him a gentle kiss. No tongue, no passion, just innocence. Unknown to both, someone snapped a picture planning to use it for anything but innocence.

“Now leave me alone you snake.” Takeru leaned back and got out the car. Tsukiya waved and drove off grinning.

That Afternoon...

Sunshined throughout the apartment. After sleeping all morning and tuning out the world, Takeru woke up at noon and got ready. He pulled his hair into a ponytail and made sure to put a headband on to hide the bandage at his hairline. Takeru wore a simple grey shirt and black jeans. He winced as he leaned down to put his boots on.

“Damn bullet.” One had grazed his side when the gang shot at him. So without delaying even more, he locked his apartment door and headed down to his car.

“Good morning!” His land lady said. She knew he slept late because of his lifestyle. He waved and got in his car. He was too lazy to walk at the moment.

By the time he got there it was 12:30pm. He stepped through the automatic doors. When the secretary saw him she blushed. “Good afternoon.”

“Good afternoon.” Takeru nodded. He went to the elevator to go to the practice room. He hummed absentmindedly. His phone dinged as he got a text.

Yuji: Where are you?

Takeru: In the elevator. Why?

Yuji: You might want to prepare yourself.

Takeru: For what?

The vocalist scratched his head. Was the manager mad? He walked quickly to their practice room. He took a deep breath as he opened the door. “Sorry I was...”

He paused at the scene before him. All of SuG and the Gazette were crowded over a newspaper.

Yuji lifted his head and stopped texting. “Ah! There you are. Come look at this!” He waved his hand so Takeru would come over quickly.

The SuG member shrugged and did as told. “What's going on?” He squeezed beside Ruki in the group and craned his neck. He gasped. There he was on the front page getting out of Tsukiya's car. The paper even enlarged the picture to so his face could be clear.

Oh Shit...

“Vocalist of SuG was seen yesterday at Tokyo square getting out a mysterious car-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT?!” Takeru shouted as he read the article stating he has a secret lover and they came from a date that night.

“That's what we wanted to ask you.” Aoi piped up from behind him. “I didn't you had someone.” He sounded kind of sad.

Takeru stepped in front of the group. “Let me set this strait before ANY rumors start. I do not have a girlfriend nor was I on a date.

“Hmm. Why were you wearing a suit then?” Chiyu teased and wiggled his eyebrows. He was trying to make light of the situation.

“I had to go to a dinner party.” Which was sort of the truth excluding the fact that it was his old gang's dinner part.

“And you couldn't tell us this?” Masato pouted. “I feel left out now.”

“I didn't even know I was going until after work!” Takeru tried to explain himself, but by the looks of everyone's face they didn't believe him.

“Well we can only hope your manager doesn't say anything.” Kai smiled. “Look on the brightside, no face was shown, right? So your 'friend' won't be troubled by paparazzi.

Takeru sighed. “Whatever.” His phone vibrated and he looked at. He could feel curious eyes on him.

Did you get my message?

-Y

“That sly ass bastard.” Takeru mumbled.

“Huh?” Reita said being the closest one to Takeru.

“I said are we done with practice?” He changed the subject.

“Come on, let's leave him alone since he's embarrassed.” Ruki commented. He got up and stretched.

“Oh~ Does anyone want to hang out since we're free now?” Aoi announced to everyone.

“Sure!” SuG said unison.

Takeru then noticed someone missing. “Where's Uruha-san?”

“He said something about having a doctor's appointment.” Reita shrugged.

Aoi hopped down from the table he was sitting on and put an arm around Takeru. “To the bar we go!”

Takeru smiled at his sempai's antics, but can't help feeling Uruha's absence had something to do with what he was suppose to get him for.

In the Doctor's office...

Uruha tapped his foot impatiently as he waited for the doctor to come back into the room with stitches. “Be glad I still need your help,” He glared over at the Screw guitarist. “Manabu.”

Said person stayed quiet holding ice to his eye.
