mistakes

I've been thinking a lot about regrets. One of my good friends told me that he trys to live without them. I know people who live every day wishing they didn't have them constantly weighing down their minds. I usually find them, dwell on them and then confront the problem, or maybe it is better put that I tackle them into the ground. It isn't possible to take back something you've already said. It is like the scattered feather story. Once a person spreads a rumor all that can be done is repentance.
On the other hand, what if what you have said was taken to be serious when you meant it to be seen in a humorous light? Does that deserve the same consideration? Have you done wrong by saying what you have said? I guess all that can be done is to pick as many feathers as possible and continue on. In other words, stop worrying, I dislike that advice because I hear it so often.
Saw two great recitals today. Liz was awesome in her performance and her song choices. Beth sang a lovely aria and looked awesome in her con fuoco dress.
