Reflection 3

Jun 08, 2007 17:19

Well, I'm glad the privacy on posts have been fixed. I can't believe that people could see that...

Odile has run off again...I think she was chasing an owl. A Great Horned Owl, by the look of it. I hope I or someone else can catch her again before she eats it...I wouldn't like to have to pay for someone to buy a new owl.

Humph. The year is coming to ( Read more... )

lohengrin, odile, studying, end of the year!, mytho

...Oh...that...that sounds like...this particularly owl doesn't look very grumpy, does he?

I hope I do alright on my OWLS.

*slight thoughtful frown* Now that you mention it...it did. *forehead scrunches up in slight concern* Don't tell me it's your owl!

*small, comforting smile* I'm sure you'll do fine, Mytho.

Oh! No, no, it's not my owl. I don't like owls. I think that's Lohengrin, Fakir's owl. I have a toad named Jupiter, although he's called 'Jay' for short.

*glances away* I hope so. I often do poorly in that class, though.

((OOC: I just randomly came up with that name. ...No, I have no idea why I named his toad after his VA.))

*inwardly sighs in relief* That's okay; I don't really like owls either...a little better than ravens, but not much. ...Fakir's, hmm? Maybe I won't mind Odile eating him now. That's appropriate...I'm surprised I didn't see Fakir in that bird's glare. *smiles*

*places a comforting hand on his shoulder* I'll help you with Transfiguration, Mytho...besides, you don't need to get an O in your Transfiguraion OWL to succeed in what you want to do in life.

Oh, don't say that! I think Fakir would be really upset if he lot his owl! And even if I don't like them too much, they're not bad... Hah, yeah...they say pets look like their owners, right? That must be why your cat is so graceful.

Well...I was wanting to get an O in everything, though.

...I'm just kidding. Partly. I don't really want Odile dropping more dead birds around in the common room. *chuckles* Fakir and - Lohengrin, was it? - definitely follow that example: both cranky creatures with eyes too suspicious and insightful for their own good. *cheeks go a tiny bit red* ...That's nice of you to say, Mytho...but I don't think Odile and I are very similar at all. Our feelings on birds, for example. *slight teasing smile*

If that's truly what you desire, Mytho, then that desire to do so will make itself known in your dedication, which will likewise bring you good results.

Ah...yeah. That wouldn't be good. That's right, Lohengrin. I think it's a knight from an opera...*small smile* There's such a thing as being too insightful? Ah, well...sometimes friends don't have to be similar, hm? What matters is love.

...Mm. I hope so.

*blinks* Opera, hmm? I like operas and the arts as well...though I tend to enjoy ballet a little more. Hence why I named my cat Odile. *angry* Can't believe I have something in common with Mytho's overprotective lout of a bodyguard... Hmm...Ahiru was saying something similar to me the other day. *small smile* Well then, I can take both your words for it.

*holds back from stroking Mytho's hair although it looks so soft and angelic* I believe you'll do well, Mytho.

((Heh. My strikes from my last post vanished, didn't they? Oh well. XD;;;

The strikes on this post, though, ARE thoughts.))

Oh, ballet? That's a muggle dance, isn't it? Silly things. I do enjoy dancing, it's a beautiful art. A wonderful way for someone to express their love to another, don't you think?

Heh...I was being silly before. Of course I'll do well, as long as certain...conditions are met.

((OOC: XD;; Sometimes the coding just doesn't want to work with you, eh? Mytho's strike is gone.))

Yes, it is. *cheeks become a very light shade of pink* Why yes...yes, I agree...of course, any way someone can show love is wonderful, but sometimes words aren't enough.

*taken aback by the sudden change in attitude* ...Well, I...I don't blame you for being nervous, Mytho...but I don't think you have to worry. *raises an eyebrow at "conditions"* What do you mean by that?

Mm...yes. Although words are also acceptable.

Oh, merely that I have to keep my other self under control keep my confidence up.

((OOC: strikes still gone))
