“Don’t you think it’s strange? I mean, he’s been avoiding us for how many days already. He didn’t even pick up my call. Never at home when I visit him. He also didn’t go to school for almost a week! What the heck is wrong with him?!” Jaejoong gritted his teeth as he walk back and forth in front of Junsu.

Junsu looked up from his plate. “Maybe he’s busy?” He tried.

Jaejoong bit the tip of his thumb and shook his head. “It can’t be. I mean no matter how busy he was, he’ll definitely pick up my calls. No matter what.”

Junsu put down his fork and propped his chin with his palms. “Hyung, does Yoochun love you?”

Jaejoong stopped his track and turned at his step-brother. “What?”

“You heard what I said.”

Jaejoong sat in front of Junsu. He was about to say something when his cell phone rings. He looked at the caller ID and smiled. “Yoochun!”

“Hey, Jae. Sorry I didn’t pick up your calls. I’ve been busy.”

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m just worried.”

“Worried? Really?”

“Of course! You’re my friend, Chun.”

“Um, okay. Hey, as my apology, I’m going to treat you to dinner. How about that?”

“Dinner? Um, can I bring junsu along?” He glanced at Junsu and saw Junsu shook his head. Junsu mouthed ‘I have a date with Yunnie’. “Oh, never mind, Chun. Junsu says he can’t go.”

“Haha. I was just about to say that the duckbutt can’t join us. But you can go right, Jae?”

“Sure. Minnie is a bit busy today anyway.”

“Okay. I’ll see you at Timeless Restaurant, 6 PM, yeah? Bye.”

“Bye.” Jaejoong hung up and turned at his brother.

“So, what did he say?” Junsu asked.

“He said he’s going to treat me dinner at Timeless Restaurant.”

Junsu widened his eyes. “Timeless Restaurant? That 5 star restaurant?” Jaejoong nodded. “I never know that guy has a lot of money.”

Jaejoong sighed. “He doesn’t. He usually works part-time there.” Jaejoong turned at his brother. “Su-ah, if only Min is free tonight. That way he can come along with me.”

“Well, he said that he got some business that he needs to do. We can’t say anything about it.” Junsu shrugged. He picked up his spoon and fork and resumed eating the leftover in his plate.

Jaejoong nodded. “I just hope nothing bad will happen tonight.”

“Talk.”

Yoona smiled to find Changmin outside her hotel room. She traced her fingers along Changmin’s face then to his broad chest which was covered in a white shirt. She always knew Changmin looks good in white. “There’s no need to rush, oppa. Let’s sit down first, okay?” She said as she pulled Changmin to sit on the couch just beside the window. They made their ways into the luxurious hotel room.

Changmin complied and sat on the single chair. He looked out of the scenery outside the window. Yoona poured wine to both hers and Changmin’s glass and hand it to Changmin. Changmin took the glass without looking at Yoona. “Now talk. You’re the one who send me the letter.”

Yoona nodded and took a sip from her wine. “I’ll be leaving Seoul soon.”

Changmin turned at Yoona, shocked. “Really?” Yoona nodded. “Why all of sudden?”

Yoona sighed and smiled sadly at Changmin. “Oppa, do you really love that person?”

Changmin was startled by the question, but he nodded nonetheless. “Yes. Very much.”

“Then, I’ll give up. I thought it’s time for me to give up on you, oppa. I take back what I said to you on the phone last time. I’m sorry.” Yoona said. She put her glass on the table and looking down to her fingers.

Changmin’s heart softened at the guilty look on Yoona’s face. Maybe.. Yoona has really changed for the better? He put down his glass as well and sat beside Yoona. He lifted her face and saw that her eyes are red because of tears. He wiped away the tears and smiled. “Don’t cry, Yoona. I’m glad you finally realized that I’m not the perfect guy for you. You’ll always be my younger sister. All right?”

Yoona nodded and smiled. “Thank you, oppa. That person is so lucky to have you as their lover. You’re so kind.”

Changmin ruffled the girl’s hair and pinched her cheeks. “It’s really good to see you smiling.”

Yoona pouted and slapped Changmin’s thigh. “Yah, oppa! Why are you mocking me?” Changmin only answered with a laugh. “Oppa, drink the wine! I bought it because I know you like them.”

Changmin smiled and nodded. “Okay, princess.” He gulped down the wine in one shot.

Yoona smiled. “I’ve always been your princess, oppa.” She whispered to herself.

Junsu stood in front of Yunho with his arms crossed in front of his chest. Yunho told him earlier that there’s something he needed to say to Junsu. But it’s been more than 15 minutes they stay in silence. “Why won’t you talk? I’m tired of this silence.”

Yunho glanced at Junsu before looking down to his feet again. Somehow, his feet look more fascinating than Junsu’s annoyed face right now. He patted the space beside him. “Sit first.”

“I’ve been sitting there for the last 15 minutes and yet you’re still not saying anything!” Junsu said angrily.

Yunho sighed. “I’ll tell you. But sit down. I can’t tell you if you’re standing up in front of me.” Yunho said, looking up at Junsu.

Junsu plopped himself beside Yunho and turned at the older guy. “Talk.”

Yunho let out a heavy sigh. “First, let me ask you. Do you know who Yoona is?” Junsu shook his head. “He’s Changmin’s ex-girlfriend.” He paused for a few second, then adds in. “My younger sister. Well, at least that was what my late mother told me.”

“What do you mean?” Junsu asked.

“When I was 14, my mother brought someone back when she came home. Yoona was 11. My mother told me to treat her like a younger sister. I’ve always wanted a younger sibling, so I did. We used to play together. The three of us, including Changmin too. Yoona had been in love with Changmin ever since.” Yunho stopped as he looked at Junsu’s face, wanting to know his reaction. But Junsu’s face was blank. He didn’t show any reaction.

“Your point is?” Junsu asked after a long pause.

Yunho rubbed the bridge of his nose. “Yoona is.. obsessed with Changmin. She’ll do anything to get him back.” He said in whisper, but loud enough for Junsu to hear.

“What?!” Junsu abruptly stood up and yelled in shock. “You mean.. she’ll hurt Jaejoong-hyung?!”

“That is probably what she’s planning to do now.”

Junsu muttered curses as he picked up the phone and hit the button like a madman. He placed the phone on his ear and wait for the other line to pick up.

-

Jaejoong’s phone rings on the table. Yoochun hesitated. He took the phone and look at the screen to see who was the caller. Kim Junsu. Yoochun immediately pulled out the phone battery and put the phone back to where he took it.

Jaejoong came back later. “Did I miss something when I went to toilet?” He asked.

Yoochun shook his head and smiled. “You took too long in the toilet. Are you sure you’re not a girl?” Yoochun teased.

Jaejoong pouted. “Shut up.”

Yoochun laughed then stop after he remembered that he still needs to do something. “Jae, I need to show something to you. Come with me.” He said, offering his hand to Jaejoong. Jaejoong took it and they walked out of the restaurant.

They went inside the elevator and Yoochun pressed on the button level 8. Yoochun’s hand still holding on Jaejoong’s tight. Jaejoong felt uneasy, he pulled back his hand, only to be held tighter by Yoochun. “Yoochun-ah, why are we going to the hotel?”

“I told you I’m going to show you something right?” Jaejoong nodded.

They stayed in silence after that. The ring sound from the elevator broke the silence as both of them walked out of the elevator. Yoochun led Jaejoong to a room. 812.

Suddenly Jaejoong felt scared. What’s Yoochun going to show him in a hotel room?

He saw Yoochun held the door for him, gesturing Jaejoong to enter the room first. It was dark, but he still can make his way into the room because of the moonlight. He stepped in and his eyes were fixed to the bed. There are two people on it. Jaejoong squinted his eyes to get better view of their faces.

The lights flickered on and Jaejoong gasped in shock. He covered his mouth with his hands and walked backwards. Tears are already poured out of his eyes uncontrollably.

“It can’t be. It can’t be. It can’t be.” Jaejoong chanted, while keep walking backwards until his back met with the wall.

“It’s real, Jae. Can’t you see it? It’s real.” Yoochun’s voice somehow sounds convincing tonight and Jaejoong hate it. Jaejoong turned his heels and ran out of the room.

Yoochun sighed. He turned to the ‘couple’ on the bed and gritted his teeth. “This is enough, right?”

The woman covered her body with the blanket and smirked. “Well done, Yoochun-shii. Now why don’t you go and comfort your beloved?”

“I don’t need you to tell me that.” Yoochun said, before running out of the room, looking for Jaejoong.
Yoona turned at the man beside her and caressed his face gently. “You’re mine now, Changmin oppa.” She said, smiling sweetly to the unconscious topless man beside her.

-

“I can’t reach him!” Junsu yelled frustrated because his calls couldn’t get through to Jaejoong. “Why won’t hyung picked his damned phone up?!”

Yunho couldn’t say anything as he supported his chin with both his hands. “Su, do you think something happened?”

“Fuck that. Something is probably already happening by now and I don’t like the thought of it one bit!” Junsu snapped at his boyfriend and bit his thumb hard.

Yunho only replied with a heavy sigh. His angel hardly curses, so when he does, that means he’s already beyond pissed off. It’s better not to provoke him anymore. He looked at his phone. “Changmin is not picking his phone up either.” Yunho muttered.

Junsu sat beside his boyfriend and massaged his painful head. “Shit. Shit. Shit.” He cursed. He turned to Yunho. “Jaejoong-hyung will be alright, right?” He asked with an edgy tone.

Yunho felt like crying seeing his boyfriend’s current expression. He couldn’t take it and hugged the younger man tightly. “Let’s pray that he’ll be alright, okay?”

Junsu nodded and cried his heart out in Yunho’s chest. Jaejoong-hyung will be alright. Junsu chanted on his mind like a mantra, praying hard that his hyung will be safe and sound.
