(no subject)
*tired wave* So I'm back, everybody.
My family and I are still recovering from the loss of my grandmother, but the important thing is that she died with a laugh on her lips and a smile in her heart; she didn't have to be in pain or fear when she went, as she was not even aware of having a stroke when she passed, and now she's with my grandfather in Heaven with the good Lord watching over her.
Thanks for all the support, guys. It means a lot to me.
So, onto more cheerful topics. Prior to events last week I had some doodles I was getting ready to post, in addition to the LJ requests (which I haven't forgotten about!), so as per usual look beneath the cut.
Satchan showing off her Japanese heritage. I borrowed the design on her sleeves and the hem from a bit of fanart I had on hand...this is probably the only time you'll catch her in such pretty clothes, as she's more of a tomboy and avoids wearing anything restricting her movement. Oh, and did I mention she has seriously long hair? No? Weeeellll....
Working on TPATD and I felt in the mood to draw some bitty chibis (and one day - ONE DAY - I will get that country headcanon up). That, coupled with a new chibi style I'm experimenting with, brought these two cuties:
Jou being an (adorable) little half-dragon. I was lazy with his bitty little feet, but considering how cute he is I don't think anyone will particularly mind, haha.
Elya stitching away at the beginnings of a nice thick blanket for the winter. Three guesses as to who that particular blanket is for :)
And finally, a gift for Gwen. Sivya has a nice purple background because there's a certain someone with a shirt and a pair of eyes just about that color, haha:
I'll start work on the requests you guys left last week and should have them up by this weekend. They'll be in one mass post, so keep an eye out for it.
