Playing with a new toy
Mwah ha. I'm up on cloud nine xD
So the reason that people haven't heard from me is because this week was a forty plus hour work week, one. Two, I got a really really REALLY cool toy for my birthday - one that's hidden below in the LJ cut as a surprise xD
Related to this note: Pidgey, if you're reading this I could use a few pointers since I'm a new user. Help, ha ha...?
Ahem. Anyways. FanFiction updates will resume, as will beta duties. I had to stop working entirely because OMG work piled up; when it wasn't work it was class, and when it wasn't class it was MORE work.

My new toy is a Bamboo writing tablet, which allows me to draw/edit pictures on my computer. Here are a couple pictures I've posted before here on LJ, only now they've been polished:
Please remember that the Marik image is NOT mine, but a sketch of him from the "Concrete Giraffe" video Little Kuriboh made; I drew it for a friend of mine. Also, Alister's eyes are almost popping out from the picture...and yes, baby!Valon just got ten times more adorable.
Only drawback I'm having is that I'm having trouble finding a medium I want to work with, especially when it comes to tracing over pre-existing images like this. I find that the fine hair camel brush and the smooth edge calligraphy pen work wonders, but I want to try and find more that would work *coughPIDGEYICOULDUSEYOURADVICEcough*
