Some Concerns
Jiraiya still has not awoken. This is disheartening. My duties as Hokage have kept me from helping my beloved keep watch over him more than I'd like. I am surprised Orochimaru has been affected this strongly over the situation. I have worked diligently today to try and get the necessary paperwork finished so I can skip out of the office earlier. Bringing good food, I plan to spend time with my teammates and perhaps I shall bring a cot as well. Since this situation arose, I have not had any time alone with Orochimaru as he always sleeps when I can take over. I figure this way, I can hold him in his sleep and still watch over Jiraiya.
SEBU has departed and I am concerned about the mission. I had very little briefing, but I can gather by their numbers it is a bit small for it's purpose. Suspiciously it seems Sakura requested a mission out of the village at the same time. I have no doubt it was an attempted cover for her to run off with Uchiha Sasuke. Again. Even if she is not from my world, she is still my precious student. I worry for her assisting in this mission.
Naruto is doing well again. Is it wrong that I am a little cynical over the cause of his sustained injuries? For someone who has moved up to Special Jounin, Sasuke should have better control of his techniques when training. I feel as if I should talk to Naruto directly over exactly what happened, but with the situation in my team, I have not had the time.
Oh, and I've been doing my best to avoid Orochimaru's 'side project.' I am still extremely unnerved over it.
