Sorrowful Smile [two]
prologue :: one

Melody is kinda worried about how Maya walked today. He’s wincing, walking like a penguin. Add on his red-now slightly blue cheek, if she only know that her husband who did that to the poor Maya. And his smiles seem forceful, unlike the other smiles earlier. She can’t help it during the lunch, so she asked in a low concerned tone.
“Maya-chan, are you sure you’re okay? You are limping,” shot!
“Uh, I fell on the stairs last night,” what? That’s ridiculous.
“How come…?”
“I-I was searching for flashlight, because last night the lights were went out,”
“Oh really? Geez, I’ve been asleep,” she nodded. God! That really worked. Then the phone rang. Melody said to Maya who’s cleaning the glassy colored window that she’ll answer the phone first. Five minutes later she’s back with a smile. Maya noticed that and he asked.
“Something good is going to happen, Melody-san?” he asked smiling.
“Yes! Shinji is coming back! He’ll be here an hour later, and he’ll pick Michael from school~” she chirped, swaying her slim body around, making the floral dress she wears flies beautifully. Maya smiled at the sight, but soon he frowned.
“Shinji…? Who is that, Melody-san?” another son?
“Shinji-kun is Miyavi dear’s best friend! He lived here too, because, you know, they both bought this pretty old house long time ago, so yeah! They’re such a good friend!” she explained. The mention of Miyavi’s name scared Maya somehow, but he get rid of it.
“Oh, that was cool, where he’s been?”
“He’s coming back from China, he’s a famous lecture! He’s perfect but I wonder why he’s not married yet?”
“He hasn’t married?”
“Yep! Shocking huh? Well he’s a super nice guy; he’s as skinny as Miyavi dear oh, you will like him much just as we did!”
Maya oo-ed and nodded happily. The mother in this family is such an angel, unfortunately she fell on the wrong man. Only if she knows that Miyavi is a monster. Maya would have told her today, but he learned that Melody loves her husband so much, and Michael, he’s too little to know. So he kept it, he’ll try to survive. Maya continued on wiping the windows. Melody’s right, this house is beautiful.
“And oh, by the way Maya-chan, how old are you?”
“I’m nineteen, Melody-san,”
“You’re not studying?”
“No, Melody-san, that’s why I worked here, I helped my parents for living,” Maya shrugged it off. Melody just stares to the young man. Then they heard the bell rings. Melody smiled to Maya and tells him to follow. She whispered “That must be Micchi and Shinji-kun!”
“Mama! Tadaima~!” the little Michael runs towards his mother, laughing cutely. Maya smiled at the sight. Then it was the first time when he saw this guy. Mizui Shinji. Standing on the door frame, holding some luggage, smiling. He’s so breathtaking yet beautiful. Maya’s mouth opened a little. Then their eyes met.
“Well hello there, who are you kid?” he has a sexy deep voice. Maya shook his head and gulped nervously, then he smirked in shame.
“Uh, I’m Maya, sir, nice to meet you and welcome home… (I think?)” He bowed.
“Ah, Maya-kun don’t call me sir just Shinji, please,”
“But sir, I’m only a servant here,” Maya frowned. Another opposite living creature from Miyavi!
“Aw, Maya-nii better follow Shin-Shin or Shin-Shin will bite you!” Michael said as he runs towards Maya and hugged his long legs. Maya feeling ticklish and laughed a little. All of them are laughing.
“Michael doll is right, Maya-kun, you better should” Shinji laughed, which made Maya’s heart beating up.
“Ne, Shinji-kun, new nick name for Micchi? Last time you called him a little bear!” Melody laughed.
“Oh, sir, isn’t that heavy?” Maya (finally) realized (again) the big amount of luggage Shinji brings.
“Ah, no, it’s not, hey let’s go inside,” he smiled.
Melody and her son walked in first, talking non-stop. They’re just so cheerful and alike. Then Maya walked to Shinji who seems having trouble with those luggages. He grinned and grabs the big luggage.
“See, sir, it’s heavy, I know it,” Maya said playfully, looking to those pretty dark orbs of Shinji, who is grinning awkwardly to him. Then he didn’t realize that he touched the other’s hand. He jerked a little and blushed. Which Shinji notice.
“Uhm, the luggage, sir,” Maya tried to change the topic and pointed to the luggage. Shinji smirked playfully and he stepped forward to the taller man. Maya’s eyes widened finding his face and Shinji’s are a few centimeters distance. He is blushing rapidly, he knows it.
“Stop calling me sir, Maya,” he whispered. Is he flirting?
“Y-yes! The luggage!” Maya grabbed the luggage and runs inside.
“Do you know where my room is, Maya?” that stopped Maya dead. How embarrassing!

“Right, just put it there, thank you, Maya,” Shinji puts the hand bag down as Maya placed the huge and last luggage on the room’s corner. Maya tapped his hand in satisfy as he turned around, finding Shinji smiling to him gently. Maya smiled back. He’s different. Maya could tell that, his eyes are different from Miyavi, his body language is gentle, and soothing.
“It’s my duty, Shinji-san,” Maya bowed. “Let me excuse myself if you don’t need any help,”
“Actually I need some fresh sheets and towels, and could you make me some tea? I’m tired like hell,”
“Sure, now I’m leaving,” Maya said and soon he’s gone from that room.
“Good boy, where did Miyavi found him?” Shinji mumbled as he began to strip himself. Finished with the last fabric he wore, he entered his shower and starts to adjust the water. He washed himself up, feeling fresher. He then realized that he has no towel yet. So he just exited the bathroom, only to find Maya with jaw touch the ground on the door frame.
“Oh, is my towel here?” Shinji asked casually, trying not to laugh his ass off, looking at the expression Maya has.
“Y-YES SIR!! I’M SORRY!!!” Maya quickly put the sheets and towels and skipped out the room. Rude footsteps from Maya walking downstairs slowly disappearing. Then the older man laughed so hard like there’s no tomorrow. He even rolled on his double sized bed.
“Man, that kid was sooo interesting!”
