Summary : Kibum is working as a maid for Lee Family, a rich family and the heir of the house is engaged to a royal prince, Kyuhyun. On the day that Kyuhyun was supposed to meet his fiancee, the said fiancee had fallen ill and they had sent Kibum to disguise. After that, it seems that Kyuhyun is determined to make Kibum his spouse.

CHAPTER 6
“Your highness, where were you last night? I went to your room but you weren’t there last night.” Zhou Mi asked when they were eating breakfast together with Hankyung, Heechul and Eunhyuk. Kyuhyun looked at Eunhyuk for help, but Eunhyuk decided that he wanted to let the prince suffer for a while.
“Yeah, where were you?” Eunhyuk pretended to ask when suddenly he felt pain in his feet, after being stepped on by the prince himself. Eunhyuk saw that as a sig to shut up.
“I… I went to the garden for a while, I hope you don’t mind.” Kyuhyun quickly congratulated himself for the quick thinking.
“Of course, we don’t mind and Zhou Mi, that’s not proper for you to go to his room at night. Don’t do it again.” Hankyung spoke up. “But dad, I just want to talk to him. So, your highness, if you want, I can show you around the house after this and we can get to know each other better.” Zhou Mi said as he winked at Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun restrained himself from puking at the spot. Instead, he faked a smile. “It’s okay, Zhou Mi ssi, I have to get going as soon as possible.” Kyuhyun said. Zhou Mi looked as if he was about to protest but Hankyung stopped him. “The prince is very busy, so don’t disturb him. Anyway, I hope you had fun here, your highness.” Hankyung said.
Suddenly Kibum, Sungmin, Yesung and Donghae came in carrying cakes for the dessert. Kibum looked up and his eyes met with Kyuhyun’s deep one. “Of course, I am really satisfied coming here and I did not regret it one bit.” he smirked. The whole time Kyuhyun said this, his eyes never left Kibum’s, causing him to blush. Zhou Mi, who thought that the prince felt that way because of him felt really proud of himself. Even Heechul looked swollen with pride with his son.
Eunhyuk saw Zhou Mi and Heechul and laughed softly. If only they knew the real reason or if they saw what he saw in Kibum’s room, they would’ve screamed. He turned to look at Kyuhyun and Kibum who was still staring at each other. Kibum was serving Heechul, who was sitting opposite of Kyuhyun. Suddenly, someone came and put a plate of cake in front of him and when he looked at the person, he was quite unprepared to see the cute guy he just met, Donghae. They looked at each other for a second before they both looked away in embarrassment.
Sungmin and Yesung(Sungmin told him everything and he was mad at Sungmin for leaving the prince in Kibum’s room but became soft when he saw the way Kyuhyun looked at Kibum) could only smile seeing both his dongsaeng and sighed thinking why they are the only one with no partner. Yesung slowly nudged Kibum and Donghae and pointed to the exit. The other would be suspicious if they stayed too long in the room. So with a heavy heart, Kibum looked away from Kyuhyun and Donghae from Eunhyuk and they followed Sungmin and Yesung out.
Before Kyuhyun went home, he looked for Kibum to say goodbye to him and little Wookie who were in the garden. Little Wookie was secured to Kibum’s chest with a blanket while Kibum water the flower. He gave them a kiss on the forehead to Wookie and… a few on the lips to Kibum and it would’ve been a lot more if a blushing Eunhyuk didn’t pull him away. He promised them that he will try to find a way to see them as often as he can. Then, he left with Eunhyuk.

After that whenever Kyuhyun want to meet with Kibum and Wookie, he would send Eunhyuk, who will tell Donghae and Donghae will tell Yesung and Sungmin. They would cooperate to help Kibum go out to meet with Kyuhyun. Sungmin and Yesung would try to cover for both of them in the mansion while Donghae accompany Kibum to the meeting place and while Kyuhyun and Kibum ‘talk’, Donghae stayed with Eunhyuk far away from the other two to avoid seeing things like the one in Kibum’s room. Then, the next morning, Kibum and Donghae would work extra hard to repay Sungmin and Yesung even though they told the younger one not too.
After about one week, Kyuhyun decided that he should tell his parents the truth because he really wants to marry Kibum and he could not wait any longer. So, while his parents and his older brother are resting in the family room, he worked up his courage to talk.
“Mother, Father, you know that I don’t usually ask for anything and I always listen to everything you say, unlike some people.” Kyuhyun said as he glared at his older brother, Siwon when he said the last sentence. Siwon just smiled, pretending that he didn’t listen to what his brother is saying. Kangin and Eeteuk looked at each other before turning to their son.
“Yes. We know that, son.” Kangin said indicating for him to continue. “So, about the marriage thing…” Kyuhyun still thinking how to break the news slowly and softly. Their parents are old after all, so he didn’t want them to get heart attack. “Don’t tell me you don’t want to get marry?” Siwon cut in. “No I do want to get marry.” Kyuhyun said.
“Then tell us what you want dear.” Eeteuk encouraged his youngest son to talk. “It just that I don’t want to get marry to the Lee heir. I already have someone else in my mind and I want to marry him more than anything else.” Kyuhyun finally blurted out. The room was silent for a moment. Kyuhyun was really nervous as he waited for their parents’ reaction.
Finally Eeteuk broke the silence. “Who is he?” she asked. “He… is the one who disguised as the Lee heir during the first meeting.” Kyuhyun answered. “But didn’t Lady Heechul said that they sent a servant?” Kyuhyun nodded at Siwon’s question. “Whoah, that servant must be hot for you to fall for him.” Siwon whistled.
“A servant? But… Kyu, you know that you will become the king of this country one day and you need someone to help you, but what can a servant do?” Kangin spoke for the first time. “No, father. He is really smart. He is the one who gave the idea to build more school and orphanage and because of that all the children are taken care of and less thief are reported.” Kyuhyun said.
Kangin and Eeteuk looked shocked for a moment to know that a servant had come up with the idea. “Tell us more about him.” Eeteuk told Kyuhyun. “Well, his name is Kim Kibum. He works for Lee family and he is 17. He likes flower and children. He is taking care of a baby who was left by their parent and the baby’s name is Wookie. He is really kind, hardworking, smart and has a cute face and his lips tasted like cinnamon and…” Kyuhyun finally realized that he had said too much, and quickly covered his mouth. “Wow, little brother, you sure move fast.” Siwon chuckled.
Eeteuk smiled. “Well, that boy must be something, you were smiling the whole time you talked about him. If he can make my son happy, then I have no objection.” Kyuhyun smiled to his mother and turned to his father, waiting for his reaction.
“I agree. I’m really amazed that he can come up with the idea. Invite him for dinner, we want to meet him first and then we will decide.” Kangin said. Kyuhyun’s smile widen at his father’s approval, before it turned to a frown. “I am not sure if he can come, it’s hard for him to live Wookie alone.” Kyuhyun said, looking down. “Then bring Wookie along, I miss having a baby in here.” Eeteuk said, causing Kyuhyun to look up in surprise. “Really?” he asked and Eeteuk nodded.
Kyuhyun quickly got up and hugged both his parents saying thank you over and over again before he run out of the room, excitedly, leaving them speechless. “He never does that.” Kangin said after a while. “Yes, it makes me happy to see him like that.” Eeteuk smiled. As a child, Kyuhyun is very independent hardly show any emotion at all. So, as a mother, Eeteuk cherished every time Kyuhyun hugs him. “Kim Kibum ssi, what has you done to my son?” Kangin wondered out loud. “I get a feeling that this is the one. Did you see that goofy smile on his face when he talked about him? And Siwon, I don’t want you to disturb them.” Eeteuk warned him.
“What?” Siwon pretended to look innocent but everyone knew him. He really likes someone beautiful or cute and will chase after them. If Kibum is how Kyuhyun had described him, then Kibum is in danger.

Kibum, Wookie, Sungmin, Donghae, and Yesung were in the kitchen, working like usual. Wookie was with Yesung as he tried to show a picture of turtle to get Wookie’s attention but Wookie kept pushing the picture away and reaching for the picture of bird. But Yesung was very persistent. “Look, Wookie. It’s a turtle.” Yesung said but Wookie pushed away the picture.
“Beeerrd… Beeerrd..” Wookie was reaching for the bird picture causing Yesung to groan and the others to laugh. Finally, Kibum gave him the picture and Wookie became quiet. Yesung just huffed in annoyance. “Sometime, I wonder who is older.” Donghae commented. “Shut up! Like you any better. You make him cry when you pulled his leg.” “But…but I didn’t do it on purpose.” Donghae defended himself. “Yeah, right…” Yesung replied as they kept fighting.
Suddenly, Madame Heechul and Zhou Mi entered the kitchen and they both looked annoyed causing them to shut their mouth. When both of them stood in front of Kibum and the others, they realized that Zhou Mi was holding a letter.
“Kim Kibum, you are invited to a dinner at the castle tomorrow.” Heechul sneered. “What did you do, you slut? They didn’t even invite me, why would they invite you? You must’ve done something to the prince.” Zhou Mi said angrily. “I… I didn’t do anything.” Kibum stuttered. “Well, whatever it is, I want you to stop it. The prince is getting married to my son and I don’t want you to disturb it, understand?” Heechul roared at him. Kibum nodded, scared. Yesung tried to comfort him by holding onto his hand.
Zhou Mi and Heechul looked satisfied enough with Kibum’s answer. “They requested to bring that stupid baby along.” Zhou Mi scoffed. “Remember. You must break it off with the prince tomorrow. He is mine.” Zhou Mi said. “Be home the next day before noon or you’ll be punished.” Heechul threatened him before they got out of the kitchen.
“Bummie… don’t listen to them, okay?” Yesung was trying to make the youngest feel better. “But they are right, hyung. The prince’s fiancé is Zhou Mi.” Kibum said sadly. “But he is not the one that the prince is meeting every weekend, is it?” Sungmin said and Kibum shook his head. “You have to trust him.” Sungmin said. “Yeah, Bummie and Hyukkie even said that the prince always think of you.” Donghae chirped in and everyone looked at him.
“What?” he asked them. “Hyukkie?” Sungmin grinned. “Well, he wants me to call him that and I just…well, he is not that bad.” Donghae said. “Good then. I don’t care who you two are dating but make sure they treat you well, or else I’ll kill them, got it?” Yesung told his dongsaeng and they both nodded. “Well, come on. We’re done here. Let’s go to your room and see what you can wear tomorrow. We’ll help you and Wookie get ready for tomorrow.” Sungmin said and they all headed to Kibum’s room.
