Birthdays are for old people

So, I'm 26. And as SOMEONE pointed out to me this morning - I am old. (Too old to go out with 22 year olds or something). Which I agree with - too old to go out with college kids period, but thanks SOMEONE for pointing that out first thing in the morning. Anyway, my birthday was a lot of fun - Saturday was the pub crawl that I wasn't too excited about until I went. Not a huge fan of Wrigleyville but I ended up having a pretty good time. And my hair looked fabulous. (Yay Vidal Sassoon senior hairstylist, Jonathon). I don't wanna wash my hair though b/c it looks too pretty now but when I wash it, all the pretty will be gone. =( Oh well. I'll have to sometime.

So pub crawl was fun, met a few interesting people. I am turning into a cast member of Sex and the City, sort of. Which it seems I'm not particulary comfortable with b/c I keep talking about it as if it's exciting, but I think I'm just trying to justify it. But generally, I'd be much happier about it if I actually built something here. And that's all I need to say about the subject that I said very little about in the first place. Oh, one more thing: it was a good birthday outing.

And then yesterday, the actual birthday, I went to Bob San - which is now my favorite sushi restaurant in Chicago and it was great and RS and JS stopped by and brought me presents, which was way too sweet and I got a lot of gift cards for sushi restaurants, which is awesome. I am clearly in bad shape w/ this whole sushi thing b/c I just had some for lunch today. BAD Hima.

I think I'm done with this little birthday recap. Yay birthdays. I like them - even if it means I'm old!

Oh, just to add: no cases AGAIN today. We had 14 people come in, no one accepted and one lady actually told an intern that she thought she might still be a bit drunk at the moment. WTF? She was only here b/c she had crim court - which she missed - and so she tried to get a civil order. But why come in today and then tell the person interviewing you that you might be drunk!? Crazy. It was one of those crazy days. But it now means that I'm fucking bored now.
