No. Barney Stinson thinks that’s not a good tradition. It should be “the best man may kiss the maid of honor.” That would be a much better tradition.
Ted always was too much of a traditionalist.
He imagines yelling something like “Stop!” or “Enough!” and then grabbing Robin, shoving her against the nearest wall, or pushing her onto the altar-that could be hot-and kissing her until she can’t breath, until her breast heaves out of her dress.
She looks at him over the bride and groom and smiles.
Maybe it’s time. Just maybe.
