Raj is perched on the couch just waiting for it to begin.
It really hadn’t hit Howard just how excited Raj was for it until he observed him clicking through to make sure he was TiVo-ing it for the fifth time since he had gotten there with the Thai.
Other than this he does not seem to move.
Raj tells him to put his portion in the refrigerator for now. He can’t take the chance of nature’s call in the middle of the performance… or that is what Howard is guessing.
So much fanfare over a symphony concert on PBS…

It is more somehow interesting to watch Raj conduct from the couch than it is to watch the screen. He swishes his hands with the time signature, leaning in to draw out each section as it is to come in. His movements are graceful as his countenance is intense.
As the piece moves into a sweeter movement heavy with violins he closes his eyes and continues to conduct, letting a smile creep across his face.
It is strangely intimate watching his friend act as if no one else were there. Howard isn’t quite sure he could be quite so candid.

The appeal of the shore at the end of the summer has decimated attendance and others have jumped ship to enjoy the afternoon. The office is empty when he strolls in after his lunch break. He walks up and down the halls once to check for signs of life, but can’t find another soul around.
It is too tempting to pass up, and all he can do not to skip to his office.
He stretches a little and gets in position before clicking play.
“I want to love you madly! I want to love you,” Marshall wails, “love you madly!”
