everyone said seattle was the best crowd...

...at first, i didnt believe it.

0k so everyone is right. the format IS amazing. but so is steel train and hellogoodbye. it was perfect that my last concert for 2 years, is also the best ive ever been to. days away was cool. the way he looked when he sang reminded me of the lead singer of radiohead(i cant believe i forgot his name). then hellogoodbye was up and they rock. i think forrest wears the same thig every night. his short running shorts and kid tee. hilarious. they put on a great live show and the crowd ate it up. every one kept yelling out requests so before every song they kept saying they were playing jesse buy nothing. good times. then steel train played. i dont listen to them that often but heard they were great live so i was excited. the word "great" did not prepare me for thier set. it was so awesome. everyone was groovin. at the opening they just jammed for about 15 minutes. its the stuff people just close thier eyes and dance to alone in the corner. i know because i saw a girl doing it. steel train is greasy and dingy and none of them had shoes on on that dirty stage. the closing number everyone from the other bands just started coming out and jamming with them with cymbals, bongos and guitars and anything. forrest came out with a super soaker and was shooting the crowd. that went on for awhile, but it couldve kept going. afterward i thought, that will be hard to follow up, everyone was going cray after thier set. then i ate my words. the format was all out there then everyone left and it got dark then this guy with ratty hair showed up at the mic. some keys started to play and he sang "on your porch". i love that song. then they went straight into rockin out and from then on it was awesome. they had so much energy and the crowd LOVED them. the very last song some more people came out and jammed. then the lead guitarist stood out over us and eric and i played the strings on his guitar for the last few notes. awesome. we cheered for a long time. a few of us cheered encore, then everyone did. THEY CAME BACK OUT. they said they owed it to seattle since we were such an amazing crowd. they played 2 more songs. faith and fast cars= amazing. he talked about how it was about an ex and a very bitter song. he said "i hope she dies" in the mic, then came back and said "no idont" then came back AGAIN and said "yes i do". the best line was:
"you spend your moms money
to make you feel secure
i can only see you naked
cause thats all your good for"

every guy cheered. myself included.

oh and that was an awesome day to begin with. i went bridge jumping in monroe with my cousins and shelly. i jumped off the top (46 feet) and did a flip off the lower part(25) it was awesome. then, while driving to the concert i just had the best youtful feeling. dont be stressed anymore because you see everyone you need to, and get everything taken care of. and i havent been nervous since. i just wanted to stick my head out the window and yell, but i was driving so i lived vicariously through my arm.

im gonna miss a lot of people.

heidi said goodbye to me this AM. it was memorable and sad. she cried. i wanted to. shes awesome. i dont know why she likes me so much.

we got to hang out last night and watched secret window. we made a bed on the floor. i cuddled between her and victoria. they both have boyfriends. breanne didnt cuddle for that same reason. yea me. it was a fun night.

this is possibly my last post for 2 years. i will miss you all. theres a lot i want to say but i dont want to waste anymore time of my last 3 days here on the computer. dont be afraid to post.

PS i cant believe i forgot the bes part of the night. after the show we went to HGB's van and hung out with them. i helped jesse load some merch in to trailer then we heart to hearted about steel train and how they are under-appreciated. he said that everwhere they go no one really gets steel train. theyre only there to see one band. and he hates it because he thinks they arent like any other band around right now. then he said" but the seattle crowd, you guys got it". then he said that the crowd here was amazing. i said yea, right. youre just saying that. he got serious and said "look, i wasnt saying that about portland last night. you guys are awesome. it was one of the best shows weve ever done. i even called my mom after the show to tell her how awesome it was!" yea... seattle DOES rock. i guess all the other bands said the same thing. (and mourning maxweel who played first, played warped at the gorge and the first thing they said was "your state is F****** BEAUTIFUL!"[theyre from az].) after having some good times there, ad having mourning maxwells tour manager get his face gashed by a crazed local kid, hgb and us decided we were hungry and had heard about a 24 hour diner on 85th called Beths. it was good. and they had sweet color drawings that customers have done all over the walls. they were hilarious. i love seattles culture. beth, apparently, is a huge black lady that enjoyed pickin on me by makin me think i wasnt getting my all you can eat hash browns. after that it was time to leave and say goodbye to hellogoodbye one last time. we took some pics and gave a lot of hugs. forrest almost broke my back. chris and i noticed we had matching pant pockets. i still get star struck around them and jesse finds that hilarious. i said thanks for letting us hang out with you guys, and he laughed. im gonna miss them a lot.
