mommie dearest
Have been focusing on Madison alot lately. She's going to be 6 in April and has lots of little things going on. She STILL wants a dirtbike, so she convinced Brian to take the training wheels off of her bicycle. This has been an adventure. Yesterday, she was peddling her butt off and rode by herself... that is, until she realized that she was going by herself and then she freaked out and slammed on the brakes.
She is also starting to check books out of the library at school. This makes me SUPER happy because she has really had trouble with her letters. After many frustrating nights with flashcards, she is finally starting to sound out words and read the beginner books.
She is also trying to talk me into voice lessons. At first, I thought it was silly until she belted out "Memories" in front of the whole family at my grandparents' house. She also entertained on New Years Eve by singing and dancing for our friends. I found out that her music teacher at school gives private lessons, so I'll be checking into that within the next few weeks.
Other than that, everything is pretty quiet.
The married life is great. I couldn't be happier.
Work is tough, but if they keep throwing money my way, I'll keep working my ass off.
