Yesterday: loved having 2 days of 0 arm pain/ stiffness due to the vaccine effects and it was nice to celebrate my Mom's bday w/ lunch from Pamcakes & a grocery store ordered cake! Today: dropping off Goodwill donations. Doing some cleaning for my Mom's RHD inspection in 2 days...
Next week I hope to have my dresser picked up by Goodwill, walking errands for a 2nd donation day, start getting the shipping logistics of books ( Media mail better than the Flat Rate boxes...to Hawaii too?)/ bikes, hoping to start applying for jobs too & getting back to a 3-4 workout week ( last week dealt w/ putting together a book case from hell w/ my Mom for her to keep her clothes, dk if she is getting of the empty dressers or not).
When the Vegas trip happens next week, I am hoping to try a tandoori salmon made from scratch recipe ( vs just getting the already made sauce, although, depending on how the dish comes out, might get it next time) & a chicken curry thickened w/ pinto beans to go w/rice. My Aunt has never had Brooklyn/ NY style pizza & while Domino's is not hardly authentic to it 100%, it is a damn good imitation, so having that 1 night too.
I have realized that if I have too many options, that is NOT good. IE breakfast options or workout options. I think having 1 staple and 1 thing that has a shelf life of a week is good for me to alternate between, esp w/ making food $ last in Hawaii. I think doing my workouts like that is also beneficial & picking & choosing a workout type to go w/ my yoga or Pilates works well in my actually getting it accomplished:). I am doing well w/ the 14 Day HIIT ( did 2) and this week, will do 1 more and do a new 3rd yoga too.
