Here's the deal. If you want to, you can comment asking me to list 5 things I associate with you. Then you take those 5 things and expand upon them in your LJ.

Here are the 5 things that travelbug27associates w/ me:

Faith:
First and foremost, my faith is what keeps me motivated, encouraged and focused EVERYDAY. I grew up in the church, but as I’ve gotten older I have a completely different understanding and longing to have a relationship w/ my Creator. No matter what I’m going through in life, I know that I must continuously praise him - good or bad. My decision to develop a relationship w/ God is BY FAR the best decision I’ve ever made.

Family/Father:
Another good choice! My family and Father are definitely important to me. In a way, my relationship w/ God goes hand-and-and w/ this. As I started to work on my relationship w/ God, my relationship w/ my family/father improved as well. Even though my family and I have had to face some trying times these last few months, I can honestly say that my family’s bond is stronger than ever; a bond that my father would definitely be proud of. Just like any family, we have our issues, but we’ve always been there for each other and I love them dearly!

Friends (girlfriends):
I’ve been known for saying that my Faith, my Family AND my Friends are the three things that keep my grounded. I can truthfully say that in the past I haven’t been the greatest friend. I let so many unnecessary distractions (my ex) get in the way of me having any sort of meaningful or healthy relationships w/ people (be it male or female). But through it all, my real friends have always been there for me. I’m SO blessed to have so many wonderful friends in my life; they are the greatest!

Running:
My *new* found love. I’ve always been pretty active; I played basketball, ran track (sprinter) and I was a cheerleader in middle and high school. But this whole running long distance thing is new to me. And believe it or not, I LOVE IT!!! Not only is it good for me, it’s therapeutic as well. There’s nothing like being outside, seeing the squirrels and birds and just enjoying God’s beauty. Running gives me such a natural high....just an amazing feeling!

Work:
Ugh....this is a tough one. Ever since my first job as a waitress at my town’s local Tastee-Freeze, I’ve always tried to do my best; no matter if it was just wiping tables. I truly take pride in every job or task that I’m giving. I believe, in my opinion, the type of work that I produce is a reflection of me - producing quality work/output, accuracy, meticulous, etc. Either way, I’m blessed to have a good job for a good company that is dedicated to helping me achieve my careers (personal as well as professional).
