Here's another one for ya, Manda...

Okay, so here's the background knowledge that you need to know for this story: Hilary shows up for work at 8:00 AM (when she was supposed to). Around 8:45 AM, one of Hilary's coworkers calls in to say she's going to be late because she's stuck on I-71 in traffic. She has no idea what's going on, but they aren't moving. Hilary and coworkers at work get online and find out there was a 4-car accident (a bad one). See article here: http://www.channelcincinnati.com/news/9326872/detail.html Then, the rides manager for the morning comes in and says many of her associates are stuck on 71 because of the accident, so some of the rides would be down until they got in. Okay. We can't control traffic and car accidents (just like we can't control the weather). Most guests are very understanding of this (the accident and our associates being stuck). However, Hilary has to deal with one guest (a woman) who comes up and says
"We were just in Nick Universe and there are two rides down- WHY?"
Hilary: "Well, unfortunately, there was a really bad accident on I-71 North-"
Guest: "-but why are the rides down?" (she wouldn't let me finish my f-ing sentence...)
Hilary: "...as I was saying, many of our associates are from Cincinnati, so they are stuck on the interstate. They should be here soon and the rides will open up as soon as they can get here. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we can't really control the traffic."
Guest: "Well, can't you take people out of the little shops and have them run the rides?"
Hilary (MY FAVORITE PART OF THIS STORY): "Well, Ma'am, if you want, I can go back there and guess which buttons to push."
Guest walks away. BAHAHA!!! I didn't mean to say it that way, but sometimes, people are just so stupid... my manager, Holly, thought it was funny, so... oh well. LOL! I love my job.

Manda - I figured you'd appreciate that :)
