week forty-two - my face is now washed with blood

i am resolving to start posting here regularly once more, if only for myself.
so much has happened since my last post.
- 52 weeks is still chugging along nicely. almost finished!
- uni has finished for the year- technically. ended up with gastro during my exam period which was just lovely, so i have to resit one in january. bleh.
- coriolanus and something fresh went well, though i was decidedly dead by the end of the run.
- my play went really well! got a lot of great feedback and have already pumped out the third draft. now just down to a few language inconsistancies, but aside from that i am ready to start peddling this play around!
- the trash play i wrote - "whatever happened to cecilia bergen", bahaha - has been put on hold for midsumma this year. a mix of low funds and too busy.
- on that, i am performing in a play called "r+j" for the midsumma festival. it's essentially romeo and juliet retold as a gay couple. i play benvolio.
- had a short story published in the monash 2009 verge anthology, which is being launched tonight!

strangely, beyond all this i've still been feeling a bit creatively fucked at the moment. probably because i haven't had a time to sit down and write something new. i'm full of ideas, now i have to force myself to materialise them.
i guess that's what holidays are for.

life, reading list for the outback housewife, writing, photography
