week twenty-three - another year
for our one year anniversary finn and i went out for breakfast to the place we had our first date.
it was my brother's birthday as well, so we had to make nice with extended relatives when, to be honest, all we wanted to do was have copious amounts of sex.
we did end up doing so. and then! on to parties!
the past two weeks have been ridiculous and hectic and fun. my life is still just rehearsals and work. getting over some kind of flu. i winged my last exam, but it was for a subject that i'd already completed last year. i at least passed, so yay for lack of motivation. wait, that's not right.
my play - "a reading list for the outback housewife" - will be performed this november/december as a pseudo-production. psuedo in the sense that whilst it'll be a full production with sound, lights, costumes etc, but also an audience/writer/actor q&a afterwards. i'm not 100% happy with the script yet and want to iron some stuff out before i apply at la mama/theatreworks with it next year. also i'll get to brush up my directorial skilz, which is always good :).
i think i have caught the travel bug well and good. i want so badly to study in america. exchange for the win. though it'd have to be at the end of next year/midway through the year after, which is so far away but there's so much i've committed myself to here that i need to finish first. guh. i suppose if i start saving now though i could get there midway though next year? i just don't know. i'm too restless for my own good right now.
