"The New York Sun"

have you heard the news?

i have, read it today, and personally, i found it platonic; the reflected sound of hollow hearts rolling tiger lilly tears across the hazy silk-covered skyline, because boy has it been hot in new york city lately. shit is on fire, really i could swear that the streets have been doused in gasoline.

how is it where you reside? hopeful more comfortable, hopefully twenty-two residents and counting haven't fallen victim to the madness that's just down my block. like i said, the news as usual; platonic.

what's happening in your hood?

in you neck -
the woods. oh my how i miss the woods sometimes, the hidden kisses beneath their long slender fingers on the eve of a new year, of a new dawn riding dusk's wake. i've seen it happen, and you can too, no matter where your neck may rest, no matter which wood you may wake and stalk about each day-
you too can see apollo slowly slip his head above the hazy horizon -
you just have to get up early enough. set an alarm, have someone knock at your window when the air feels yellow and latent. and together, the two of you can saunter up a hill to fetch a glimpse of genesis, neglecting the fact that light brings both:
life and death -
fact and fiction-
heat and newstories.
